Hi Bloggers.
Apologies for the Christmas card today but as I currently have the Stamps to Die For Bauble Stamps in stock in my Amazon Store, I thought I'd share this demo card from the last set of Christmas Shows.
For the background, I ran some lavender card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations New Year Dove Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and then rubbed Vintage Plum Gilding Wax all over. I inked around the edges with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the Floral Bauble with Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer White Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments 2011.
I stamped the Winter Wishes Sentiment from the Justrite Noel Christmas Ornament Clear Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and added White Detail Powder. I did not heat set at this point. I stamped the bauble from the same stamp set around it, using Perfect Medium and added White Detail Powder. I then heat set the lot and cut it out using a smaller Spellbinders Heirloom Ornament 2011 die.
I stamped a border using one of the foliage stamps from the Creative Expressions Snowflake & Sprigs Stamp set, again using Perfect Medium and embossed with White Detail Powder. I edged the panel with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam and popped it onto a black mat.
I assembled the card as shown adding a couple of tiny bows from my stash, some Black Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Vintage Plum around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

ReplyDeleteHi Julia
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous Christmas card- it's a new colour scheme for Christmas to me and I love it! The new year dove embossing folder is beautiful as are the bauble stamps - must take a look at your shop online at amazon very soon before you are out of stock! I love the plum gilding wax it's really pretty, I have quite a few of the gilding waxes and can't stop using them to highlight my embossing from folders I've used.
Best wishes from Katie-Louise
