Hi Bloggers.
I have shows today on Create & Craft at 10am and 6pm (at the moment!). Hope you can join me.
I'm launching 6 new stamps in our Singles range today - I've been involved in choosing them so I hope you like them. They've all been included on some A5 stamp sheets in the past but they have all been re-sized, most come with a sentiment. As with all the stamps in the singles range, they are mounted and cut out for you ready to use. I'll be stocking all the new singles stamps in my Amazon Store as soon they become available to retailers.
There's no dies on the show so once again I've had lots of fun using lots of different dies.
Here's today's card - a technique that I've used lots recently but I love the way it turned out with the Peacock Feathers Mask and it includes a die cut from the Heartfelt Ornamental Add On die set.
So, for the background, I popped my tan mat onto my base plate. I dusted a piece of Coconut
White Card with my anti static bag and placed it dusted side up on my
tan mat. I inked up the Peacock Feathers Mask with Perfect Medium and placed it inked side down on top of the dusted
card. I added the pink embossing plate and ran it through the Grand
Calibur. The ink transferred to the debossed pattern. I added Cosmic Shimmer Lapis Pink Aurora Embossing Powder tapped off the excess and heat set.
I stamped the Vintage Dressform using Perfect Medium and embossed with Lapis Pink Aurora. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 4 and inked through the die with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Creations Classic Message Pre Cut Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Lapis Pink Aurora. I cut it out using Spellbinders Card Creator Distressed Edges and inked through the die with Spun Sugar.
I made 2 ribbon flowers using White Satin Edged Organza following the method on Sue's Ribbon Flower Tutorial (I cut the ribbon in half lengthways to make the 2 flowers). I cut one of the lattice ornaments from the Heartfelt Creations Ornamental Add On dies, nipping the pointy end off the die cut.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Vintage Pink around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

Merry Christmas
Hi Bloggers.
Change of plan - no show today. I think the plan is to include the Heartfelt Stamps & Dies in my first show tomorrow. That may, of course, change! There's also a change in the time tomorrow, the first show is now at 10am and not 11am. So now I have to get up an hour earlier and I have a 7 hour gap between shows instead of 6! The good news is that the first show appears to be with Dean so that should be a giggle! I'm surprised we're allowed in the studio together. The 6pm show is currently with Dawn but please do re-check the schedule during the day for any changes.
Here's a card I've made with the Heartfelt dies & stamps -
For the background, I stamped around the edges of a piece of Milk Card with the pine cones stamp from the Sweet Memories Stamp Set using Pine Needles Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Wild Poinsettia Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design -this is a repeating pattern and very easy to line up. I inked around the edges with Fired Brick Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the main image from the Christmas Song Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and added Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I stamped the sentiment inside the image, added clear powder and heat set the lot. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks.I used Scarlet Flame from the Autumn Shades Set, Jade Teal from the Garden Twist Set and Blue Lace from the Soft Velvet Set (more stock due in soon). I swiped a little Antique Linen Distress Marker onto my craft sheet and diluted it with my water brush. I used this as a wash around the edges of the scroll. I cut the image out using Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 and inked through the die with Fired Brick. I cut a mat out of burgundy card using Spellbinders Labels 8. I stamped the 2 smallest flowers from the Heartfelt Petite Poinsettia Stamp Set (from last year) using Jet Black Archival. Using a template, I cut them out using Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia. I shaped the leaves/petals and glued them together using Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue. I put a spot of glue in the centre of the top flower and added 3 Cream 3mm Pearls. I added this poinsettia to the top of the one in the image.
I stamped 2 of the largest holly swirl stamps from the Holly Berry Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival. I coloured them in using Scarlet Flame and Jade Teal Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I cut them out using the Ornamental Add On dies. Now, usually I would make a template first and then cut them out. And I did actually cut a template. However, I heard Sue say on her show last week that it was easy to line die up over the stamped image. I didn't really believe her but I had a go and - surprise, surprise - she was right! How could I ever doubt her? Now, don't expect to get it perfect every time - you don't always with a template. But it looks pretty good even when it's not perfect. I tucked them in either side of my image panel as shown.
I tied a bow using Burgundy/Ivory Grosgrain and added a Fancy Pearl Embellishment.
I assembled the card as shown adding some Cream Pearls in the left-hand corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Berry Red around the edges.
I'll be back tomorrow with a card from the original line-up on tomorrow's shows.
Julia.

Friends are Lifetime Treasures
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card - no 'I don't like green' comments allowed!
For the background, I started by dusting some Coconut White Card with my anti static bag. Then, with the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped the Postcards A6 Background using Black Perfect Medium. I added Cosmic Shimmer Lapis Black Aurora Embossing Powder and heat set. I then inked through the Floral Vines Mask using Peeled Paint Distress Ink, moving the mask around the card so the whole area was covered. With the stamp in my hand, I added the Rose Corner using Peeled Paint.
I stamped the Tatty Button Pony Pal using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Umber, Marigold & Dark Spice from the Autumn Shades Set, Soft Moss from the Garden Twist Set and Warm Delight from the Skin Tones Set. I cut the image out using Spellbinders Classic Squares Large and inked through the die with Peeled Paint. I cut a Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge out of green card and threaded some Moss Green Vintage Ribbon through it. I tied a bow using 3 lengths of the ribbon, spritzed it with water and dried it with my heat tool, scrunching it up as I did so. I added a Heart Dazzler.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Thoughtful Sentiments Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with clear powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles and inked through the die with Peeled Paint.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer PVA in Vintage Golden Green around the edges.
I'll be back tomorrow with a card from the Heartfelt Show (hopefully - got to make some yet!).
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Ho Ho Ho
Hi Bloggers.
Just before I share today's card, I wanted to let you know that I have an extra show this week. It's on Tuesday at 2pm and it's the Heartfelt Creations Christmas Stamps and dies that Sue launched at CHA last week.
Here's today's card - a real quickie Christmas Card.
For the background, I used a piece of Milk Card. I ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Snowflake Frame Mask. I highlighted the embossed areas with Golden Light and Deep Red Gilding Wax and then edged the whole piece with Fired Brick and Aged Mahogany Distress Ink Pads using Cut n Dry Foam.
I popped some DS Adhesive onto some card and die cut a Spellbinders Labels 22. I peeled off the backing and rubbed some Fire Red Polished Silk Glitter into it. I stamped the Santa from the Justrite Christmas Labels 22 Stamp Set using Pergect medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Berry Red Aurora Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Three Dies and inked through the die with Fired Brick.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, again using Perfect Medium and embossed with Berry Red Aurora. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Four Dies and inked through the die with Fired Brick.
I tied a bow using Burgundy/Ivory Striped Grosgrain and added an Idea-ology Noel Christmas Adornment.
I assembled the card as shown adding some Cream Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Berry Red around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

Have a Festive Christmas
Hi Bloggers.
Another Christmas Card today -
For the background, using the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped a section of the Holly Script A6 Stamp using Forest Moss Distress Ink. I just did this in the top section of the card. I then added a few berries from the Justrite Festive Poinsettia Stamp Set (just 1 left in stock - see this post) using Festive Berries Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Holiday Magic M-Bossabilities Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Forest Moss using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the baubles and sentiments using the Justrite Vintage Christmas Ornaments Stamp Set and the Heritage Christmas Ornaments Stamp Set with Jet Black Archival. I cut them out with their corresponding Spellbinders Dies - Heirloom Ornaments 2011, 2012 and 2013 and inked through the dies with Festive Berries. I ran some Bakers Twine from the Primary Set down to each ornament and added a bow.
I stamped the sentiment from the Festive Poinsettia Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Four Dies and inked through the die with Festive Berries.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Berry Red around the edges.

Remembering with You
Hi Bloggers.
A bit of a 2-fer today. Same card but different backgrounds. I made the second one first but decided I'd probably get some 'too dark' comments so I made the first one to demo.
For the background, I used the Rose Corner Stamp in my hand and stamped 3 times across the card and 3 times down the card using Spun Sugar Distress Ink. I filled in some of the gaps by using the Postcards A6 Stamp (again in my hand using Spun Sugar). I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Passion Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Spun Sugar using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the Daisy Swirl using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Ruby Lapis Lustre Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 29 and inked through the die with Spun Sugar.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Treasured Memories Stamp Set using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Ruby Lapis Lustre. I cut it out using Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles and inked through the die with Spun Sugar.
I stamped the Daisy Swirl twice more and cut the flower heads out using scissors. Using the embossed line as a guide, I cut down to the centre in several places and then shaped using a paper shaping tool.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Vintage Pink around the edges.
This is the first card I made -
The stamping was done in Black Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Lapis Black Aurora. The Daisy Swirl was cut out using Spellbinders Labels 8. I inked through the dies with Forest Moss Distress Ink. The background is the Couture Creations Ooh La La Embossing Folders and Black Card, then rubbed all over with Vintage Golden Green Gilding Wax. I used Vintage Golden Green Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

Love Stretches Your Heart
Hi Bloggers.
This is one of the demos from last Saturday.
This card features Cosmic Shimmer Lagoon Lilac Aurora Embossing Powder. Unfortunately, on TV and in my photos it doesn't really show up as well as in 'real life'. The powder is blue on white card and purple on black card (if using Clear Perfect Medium). You can also achieve the shade you get on black or dark card by stamping with black ink onto white card as I've done here. I used Black Perfect Medium (sorry out of stock at the CE warehouse at the moment) but you could also use Jet Black Archival (be quick getting the powder on) or Black Soot Distress Ink.
For my background, I cut a piece of Coconut White Card measuring 5 3/4" square. I dusted it with my anti-staic bag and popped it onto my GC Tan Mat which was sitting on on my base plate. I inked all over my Blossom Mask with Black Perfect Medium (the more ink the better on this) and popped it face down onto my card. I added my Pink Embossing Plate and ran it through my Grand Calibur. The ink transferred to the debossed pattern. I added the Lagoon Lilac Aurora Powder and heat set.
I stamped the Daisy Swirl using the Black Perfect Medium and embossed with Lagoon Lilac Aurora. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 29 and inked through the die with Dusty Concord Distress Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Thoughtful Sentiments Stamp Set using the Black Perfect Medium and again embossed with the Lagoon Lilac Aurora. I cut it out using Spellbinders Matting Basics B and inked through the die with Dusty Concord.
I tied a bow using White Sheer Wrinkled Edge Ribbon. I pressed a Fancy Pearl Embellishment into the Black Perfect Medium Pad, added Lagoon Lilac Aurora, tapped off the excess and heat set.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Vintage Plum around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

New products in my Amazon Store
Hi Bloggers.
Just to let you know that I now have the Custard Card and the Ruby Card in stock in my Amazon Store - the ruby is more red than pink as the photo suggests. I also have re-stocked the Cobalt Card and the Coconut White Card. I have just a few packs of Burgundy Card - this has been discontinued and I grabbed the last of the stock so, as they say, when it's gone, it's gone.
I've stocked a few more colours in the Cosmic Shimmer Aurora Embossing Powder range which includes some colours I'll be having in my shows on 31st and the colours that I had on last Saturday's shows. You can find the Lustre Powders here. You can also get the Clear Perfect Medium Pad here.
Also back in stock are the Daisy Swirl and Rose Corner Stamps.
All for now.
Please scroll down to the previous post for today's card.

The Gift of Christmas
Hi Bloggers.
Did you see Sue on the Heartfelt Creations World Launch last night? Lovely stamps and dies, weren't they?
I'm dipping back into Christmas today -
For the background, I popped the Snowflakes Mask onto some red card and spread some Soft White Cosmic Shimmer Texture Paste over the top. I removed the excess and put it aside to dry overnight.
I stamped the Santa from the Justrite Christmas Labels 22 Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Berry Red Aurora Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Three Dies and inked through the die with Festive Berries Distress Ink. I cut a Spellbinders Decorative Labels 22 out of Red and threaded some White Silky Crush Ribbon through the slits in the die cut. I tied a bow using 2 lengths of the same ribbon and added a Red Dazzler.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Christmas Gifts Vintage Labels Two Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Berry Red Aurora. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Four Dies and inked through the die with Festive Berries. I cut 2 corners out of red card using Spellbinders Holly Accents and added them to the end of my sentiment panel.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.

Learn from yesterday
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
I really like the way the background turned out on this one. First, with the stamp in my hand, I used the Rose Corner Stamp and randomly stamped it roughly 3 times down the card and 3 times across using Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. Then, using the same technique, I stamped the Rose Background using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and the Postcards stamp using Faded Jeans Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Passion Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Faded Jeans using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Thoughtful Sentiments Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Lagoon Lilac Aurora Embossing Powder (coming to my Amazon Store soon). I cut it out using Spellbinders Classic Squares Large and inked through the die with Faded Jeans. I cut a Spelbinders Fleur de Lys Square out of Cobalt Card.
I cut some leaves using the Heartfelt Creations Falling Leaves Die Set. I made a couple of ribbon roses using a piece of White Sheer Wrinkled Edge Ribbon cut in half lengthways and a piece of Royal Blue American Seam Binding (see Sue's Ribbon Flower Tutorial here).
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.

There are always flowers
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's sunny card -
For the background, I just stamped part of the Elemental Swirl along the top and the bottom using Scattered Straw Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and ran it through the Grand Calibur using the Couture Creations Ooh La La Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and then inked around the edges with Scattered Straw using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the Sunflower Corner twice using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Sunflower (from the Summer Fayre Set), Umber (from the Autumn Shades Set) and Soft Moss from the Garden Twist Set). On the second image, I just coloured in the flower heads. I cut them out with scissors and went around the edges with a black promarker to hide an white bits. I gave them a bit of shape with my bone folder. I cut the main image out using Spellbinders Card Creator Distressed Edges and inked through the die with Scattered Straw. I then popped the cut out sunflower heads on top with a bit of 3d foam.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Thoughtful Sentiments Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with clear powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Card Creator Distressed Edges and inked through the die with Scattered Straw.
I tied a bow using White Sheer Wrinkled Edge Ribbon. I pressed a Fancy Pearl Embellishment into a Perfect Medium Pad, added Cosmic Shimmer Tropic Yellow Lustre Embossing Powder, tapped off the excess and heat set.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Golden Pearl around the edges.
The Custard Card I used for my mats on this card should hopefully be in my Amazon Store by the end of the week. I still have some Christmas Justrite Stamp Sets left - please see this post if you're interested.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

There's only one like you!
Hi Bloggers.
Thanks for all your messages, emails and comments here on the blog. I'm glad you enjoyed the eclectic mix of stamps on the shows.
Here's the card I didn't quite get to finish in the first show yesterday -
For the background I stamped the Sunflower Corner around the edges using Fired Brick Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Ooh La La Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Fired Brick using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the Tatty's Sunflower image using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Marigold, Scarlet Flame and Umber from the Autumn Shades Set, Sunflower from the Summer Fayre Set, Jade Teal from the Garden Twist Set and Cosmic Tone from the Skin Tones Set. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 29 and inked through the die with Fired Brick.
I cut a large Spellbinders Romantic Rectangle out of our new Ruby Card (on order). At the emboss stage I added the Couture Creations Great Almanzo Embossing Folder. I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Treasured Memories Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 17 and inked through the die with Fired Brick.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Red Sheer Wrinkled Edge Ribbon and added a Fancy Pearl Embellishment.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
