Here's today's card (and it's a proper one!) -

A simple little card with a couple of techniques.

I started by creating a Pixie Powder Background on Watercolour Card. I misted the card with water and then sprinkled CS Scarlet Mist Pixie Powder over and put aside to dry.

Once dry, I dusted my PP background with an Anti-Static Bag and stamped one of the birds from the Justrite Doodled Birds Stamp Set (back in stock) using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I coloured the image in a little using Scarlet Mist Pixie Powder and Sunrise Pink Mica Powder from the CS Summer Shades Mica Spray Set.

I cut it out using #2 die from Sue Wilson's Refined Rectangular Frame Die Set.

I cut the #3 die from the set out of Coconut White Card. I made my embossing powder by popping a little CS True White Detail Embossing Powder into a little bag and adding some Sunrise Pink Mica Powder to it and giving it a good shake. I covered my frame with Clear Perfect Medium and embossed using my custom embossing powder. I re-inked, added more powder and heat set again.

I used a Coconut White Card Blank (1/2 a sheet) and stamped my sentiment from the same set using Jet Black Archival.
