Hi Bloggers.
I have a woven card for you today -
I stated with my background. I stamped one of the stamps from the Justrite Confetti Trio 5 times ont a piece of Coconut White Card using Colour Clouds - I used Frosted Aqua, Baked Peach, Summer Sky, Lilac Whisper and then Frosted Aqua again. I gave the background a quick blast with my Heat Tool to dry it and then cut Sue Wilson's Classic Weaving Die from it, leaving good sized border on the ends to hold on to it.
I cut Sue's Striped Weaving Die out of Coconut White Card. I cut it into 'wide pair' strips and used these to weave in and out of my background piece.
I made 3 frames using Sue's Stitched Lattice Frames Set B. One from Coconut White Card using dies #2 and #5, one from Aqua Card using dies #2 and #4 and one from Lilac Card using dies #2 and #3. I glued them together using CS Glue and added the frame to my woven background using 3D Foam, trimming away the excess using my Tim Holtz Scissors.
I stamped the image from the Justrite Make A Wish Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival. I coloured in using CS Colour Clouds - I used Lilac Whisper, Frosted Aqua, Summer Sky and Sun-Lit Cedar. I cut it out using Sue's Happy Birthday Circle Die Set. I cut the Happy Birthday die from the same set out of Lilac Card.
I cut Sue's Star Flower Cluster Die Set (sorry out of stock at CE at the moment -you could use the Daisy Cluster die set instead!) out of Lilac and Aqua Card and added 3mm White Pearls to the centre of the flowers.
I finished my card by adding a 5mm White Pearl to the corners of the frame and some Coconut White and Aqua Card mats.
