Hi Bloggers.
Back from a busy, tiring weekend in Wales. Catching up on post, food shopping and packing for my workshop tomorrow at Creative Expressions HQ are the order of the day!
Here's today's card -
I cut the largest die in the Spellbinders Triple Floral Die Set out of Teal Card. I cut the same die and the next smallest die together out of Aqua Card to form a frame. I glued the 2 die cuts together using Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue, offsetting them slightly to form a shadow.
I cut the largest die n the Spellbinders Floral Assortment Die Set out of Coconut White Card and inked through the die with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Delightful Sentiments Clear Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival. I cut it off using a Spellbinders Curved Squares Die and inked through the die with Peacock Feathers. I cut a Spellbinders Decorative Curved Square Die out of Teal Card.
I made a flower using Spellbinders Flower Play Die Set, inking the petals with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I added a 5mm White Pearl to the centre of the flower. I cut a couple of leaves out of Teal Card using Spellbinders Romantic Vines Die Set.
I cut the largest die from the Spellbinders 6 x 6 Matting Basics A die set out of Coconut White Card to form the first mat. I assembled the card as shown adding a small Aqua Dazzler to each corner and piercing around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Hello Julia and all.
ReplyDeleteA great layout and I love the colour combination you have used. I'm fortunate to have most of the dies you have used, so this is one for me to copy, Thanks for sharing.
It is a shame if the rumours are true, I notice Sue and yourself have no dates on your blogs, though as we all know even if you did they could cancel them. Atleast we will still have Sue and you blogs.
Hopefully you can have an easier day on Wednesday.
Best wishes.
Hi Julia
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely card today. Hope you get a bit of time to rest Julia after your busy weekend, and then a workshop tomorrow. You must be worn out.
Just one word to describe today's card "FABULOUS" hugs to all, and try to get a rest Julia.
