Here's today's card -
I haven't used this lovely Spellbinders Tudor Rose Card Front Die before. It may be making a few more appearances as it really is lovely and ideal for a quick card.
It comes as 2 dies - so you can cut with an outside edge or without and have a larger border if you wish, plus there's a lovely tag die.
I cut the outer die out of Periwinkle Card. I cut the 2 dies together out of Coconut White Card. I glued the 2 die cuts together using Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Fabulous Sentiments Clear Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Cobalt Archival. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels One and inked through the die with Stonewashed Adirondack Dye Ink. I cut another Labels One Die out of Periwinkle Card.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths each of thin Off White Satin Ribbon, Bluebird Satin Ribbon and Pastel Bakers Twine. I added a Small Blue Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some 5mm and 8mm White Pearls and piercing around the edges.
Just a reminder that there are a few spaces left for my workshops at Creative Expressions HQ in Kettering on Tuesday. Here's a reminder of the projects -

Morning Julia, will try again don't know what happened to my last comment it must have gone into outer space or up in the cloud. Well a gorgeous card today and don't think I have seen this die before but would be very handy. The card you have for your morning workshop is gorgeous I must try to replicate it as I still haven't used my weaving dies yet but really love this card.

A lovely die which needs very little to enhance it. Would like to try the weaving technique on the workshop card, but can't manage a Tuesday workshop.

Hi Julia, oh this card is gorgeous, haven't seen this die before and it's sooo pretty and I love the tri-colour bow. I'm feeling sad today though, when I saw the gorgous cards you are making at your workshop, I never seem to hear of anything as craftily exciting as this near where I live, if I did, I'd be there like a shot! Do you ever get up to Bolton (Lancs)? ;-)
ReplyDeleteCan't tell you how much I enjoy your blog.
Blessings all - Deb C xx
All my dates are in the left hand side bar of this blog. Won't be doing as much travelling next year - it's exhausting. You guys are gonna have to do some of the travelling!

I can second your comment, that the rose card front makes a quick lovely card. I use mine for people who I am not sure will keep my creation after their birthday and want something nice but does not take ages to make.
