Dance is a Sport

Hi Bloggers.

A Gatefold Card today -

I stamped the Quick Step Stamp onto Milk Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Steel Blue Aurora Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 29 and inked through the die with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. I cut a Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge Die out of Navy Card.

For the 2 front panels and the inside piece, with the stamp in my hand I randomly stamped Phill Martin's Vintage Sheet Music Background using Faded Jeans. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran the pieces through the Grand Calibur with the Checkerboard PinPoint Embossing Folder (all 3 pieces fit inside the folder at the same time) and inked around the edges with Faded Jeans. I added Sparkle Star Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles around the edges and put the pieces aside to dry. Once dry, I matted them all onto Navy Card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Step by Step Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Steel Blue Aurora. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 17 and inked through the die with Faded Jeans. I cut a Spellbinders Devine Eleoquence Die out of Milk Card and inked through the die with Faded Jeans. I cut the largest Devine Eleoquence Die out of Navy Card. I layered all these die cuts together and added them to the inside of the card.

I cut a couple of leaves out of Navy Card using Sue Wilson's Curled Vines Die Set and added a White Satin Flower.

I assembled the card as shown, adding the image panel to the right-hand panel and some Small Circle Dazzlers to the corners.

In case you didn't know it, Sue Wilson has a One Day Wonder on Create & Craft today with her Release 2 of her Die Range starting at 8am with Nigel, then 11am, 2pm, 4pm and 7pm. I do believe that John Lockwood with be making his debut on a couple of the shows.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
