Senorita

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card (the red has photographed much brighter than it acutally is - again! Much more of a burgundy in real life) -

For the background, I ran a piece of Black Card through the Grand Calibur with the Floral Brocade PinPoint Embossing Folder. I rubbed Deep Red Gilding Wax all over the embossed design and left to dry for a few minutes. Once dry, I buffed it up using a dry wet wipe. I wrapped a piece of Black Crochet Ribbon around the centre.

I stamped the Senorita Stamp using Jet Black Archival and embossed using Cosmic Shimmer Lava Black Aurora Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A and inked through the die with Raisin Adirondack Dye Ink. I cut the largest 2 dies from Sue's Granada Die Set out of Rich Red Card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Step by Step Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Lava Black Aurora Embossing Powder. I cut it out using a Justrite Vintage Labels 2 Die and inked through the die with Raisin Adirondack.

I tied a bow using Black Crochet Ribbon. I rubbed some Deep Red Gilding Wax over a Vintage Black Button and added it to my bow.

I cut a couple of leaves out of Rich Red Card using Sue's Petite Vinery Die Set and made a couple of flowers out of Black Crochet Ribbon.

I assembled the card as shown adding some Small Black Dazzlers to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black Pearl around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
