Dance the night away

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I randomly stamped Phill Martin's Vintage Sheet Music Background using Pink Sherbet Adirondack Dye Ink Pad. I repeated the process with Phill Martin's Vintage Script Background using Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Rows of Bows PinPoint Embossing Folder and inked around the edges with Pink Sherbet Adirondack. I added Iced Candy Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles to the edges and put aside to dry.

I stamped the Senorita Stamp using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 29 and inked through the die with Pink Sherbet. I added Iced Candy Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles to the edges and put aside to dry. I cut a Spellbinders locking Loops Die out of Black Card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Step by Step Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut if out using Spellbinders Labels 17 and inked through the die with Pink Sherbet. I added Iced Candy Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles to the edges and put aside to dry.

I popped some Cosmic Shimmer Warm White Matt Chalk Paint onto my Craft Sheet and mixed in some Frosty Mallow Mica Powder from the Delicate Lace Cosmic Shimmer Mica Spray Set. I used this to change the colour of a piece of White Crochet Ribbon using Cut n Dry Foam. Once dry, I cut it in half lengthways and made a flower. I cut a couple of leaves out of Black Card using Sue Wilson's Petite Vinery Die Set.

I assembled the card as shown adding some Small Circle Dazzlers to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Cosmic Pearl around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  2. Pretty These stamps are lovely I haven't noticed the interlocking circles die before I like it (a lot!) Does it marry up with any of the matting basics or are there plain dies in the set too?

Must agree with the comment from karenlotty - these stamps are brilliant. Also I noticed the interlocking circles - never seen them before on any show. They are really effective.
    Enjoy your day.

    1. Locking Loops is an A2 set. I think it came out when the original A2 Card Creators came out - ages ago. They were on C&C. Julia
