Whew! What a busy couple of days. I really didn't expect the Pick of the Day to sell out so quickly. I'm only sorry that I didn't get to do more demos and show you more of the fab Creative Expressions products that I had on the show. Thank you so much for all your emails and comments her on the blog. Much appreciated as always.
Here's today's card which was a demo I didn't get to do -
I started by running some Milk card through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders A4 Garden Lattice M-Bossabilities Folder. I cut the second largest of the
Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One out of black card. I cut the next smallest size out of milk card and at the emboss stage I added the other side of the Garden Lattice M-Bossabilities Folder.
I stamped the sentiment from the
Creative Expressions Trees of Imagination Stamp Set using
Jet Black Archival and embossed with
Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using the largest 2 sizes of the Spellbinders Exquisite Circles dies nested together. The outer piece slots over the points of the inner piece. I cut a Scalloped Labels One out of black card.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of black Silky Crush Ribbon. I cut a motif out of cream card using the Spellbinders Botanical Swirls & Accents die set, popped a
Black Dazzler on top and added it to my bow. I also added a couple of
Black Pearl Decorative Stick Pins.
I assembled the card as shown and adding some
Black Pearls in the corners and some dots of
Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black Pearl.

Between you and Sue I am inspired to create those wow factor cards. You are an amazing guru and I thank you for the inspiration, talent and time to impact my crafting. I only watched two shows and you were awesome, you are patient with the silly presenters.
Lovely card Julia, once again I feel cheated that C&C didn't order enough, and we lost out on your demos. When will they learn?

Morning Julia, a beatiful card just love mono. cards don't have the
ReplyDeletegrand circles but I have the grand ovals which I saw you replace
the circles with after they sold out and it looked just as good
so will be trying them as I love the combination you have shown,
all your shows were great shame you didn't get to finish the first couple
but loved the way you quuickly brought in the one you had already done. Nancyd xx

Wow the shows were fast and furious Julia - loved the dies though and bought a couple of the ones I didn't already have. This card is beautiful - because the dies are great. I'm not sure on the colour though, I am really off black and white at the moment. Having said that - I will probably change my mind next month!!!

Love the card, loved the shows indulged in the potd and french one too! I always buy anything french as great for my friend who is french and she thinks I am sooo clever! Enjoy the rest you did really well!
