Hi Bloggers.
Here's a really easy card featuring the Roundabout Cut, Fold & Tuck.
For the background, I ran some Coconut White card through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Regal M-Bossabilities Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the pattern and then inked around the edges with Espresso Adirondack Die Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I cut 2 borders out of Foundations Floral Dream paper using the Persian Accents die set.
I cut 2 of the middle sized Roundabout CFT out of the same Foundations paper and folded and tucked them. I added an 8mm Black Pearl to the centre of each of them.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Dreamy Sentiments Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Labels 25 and inked through the die with Espresso.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Black Pearl Pearlescent PVA around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Looks a tad grey to me too, but this would work with any colour! Must get that border set sometime, it's really pretty.
ReplyDeleteMorning Julia. A really nice card, as usual. It does look a bit grey but the border is really pretty. I really love yesterday's though - very striking. Must try to get hold of the ribbon before it all goes.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card and at least I have all these dies and embossing folder so the credit card can rest easy. Perhaps you could give a demo of how to extend a pattern with an embossing folder next time you are on C & C, it would be most helpful to me and I am sure lots of other people too.
Margaret
I do try to do this on nearly every show. Regards, Julia.
