Hi Bloggers.
This is the first all-white card I've ever made and it was the first demo the I actually got to finish on the Pick of the Day shows last week.
For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Annalee Embossing Folder. The card was wider than the folder (about 5 1/2").
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Thoughtful Sentiments Stamp Set using Perfect Medium, added some Cosmic Shimmer Silver Shine Metallic Embossing Powder and heat set. I cut it out using a Spellbinders Marvelous Squares die.
I cut the largest but one of the Marvelous Squares out of White Card and also the next size but this time also included the next die on the same piece of card too. When I had cut & embossed them, I re-inserted the cut outs and secured them at the back with tape.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of White Sheer Wrinkle Edge Ribbon. I added a Fancy Pearl Embellishment and a couple of White Pearl Decorative Stick Pins.
I assembled the card as shown adding some Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

ReplyDeleteThis card is stunning. I ordered that Annalee embossing folder yesterday so it's great to see it in use and I have the marvellous squares and they look beautiful with that embossing. Think the marvellous squares are my favourite dies at the moment.

ReplyDeleteGood evening Julia , another of my favourites. I've yet to use my 'dazzlers' as I need to invest in wider ribbon. I've just finished a card using the Just Right stamp set with labels 20 that you had on a few weeks ago along with bitty blossoms and 'tied up' folder.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know spellbinders are on tomorrow , I'm going to check now ;) .
Thanks for your fab inspiration and ideas as always ,
Love Julie (Llanelli) x
