I had a lovely day with Kathryn yesterday - hard to leave her again though! Still, I have lots to do over the next few weeks so I can keep myself occupied.

Today's card features Yasmin from the Creative Expressions Fashionista : Best Friends Stamp Set.

For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Ornamental Iron M-Bossabilities Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the pattern. I inked around the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.

I stamped the image using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured her in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I cut the image out using a Fancy Postage Edge die and inked through the die with Tumbled Glass.

I cut the largest of the Fancy Ribbon Threader dies out of Blue Card and threaded some Sky Blue American Seam Binding through it.

I tied a messy bow using 3 lengths of the American Seam Binding. I spritzed it with water, scrunched it up and dried it with my heat tool. I cut out one of the Ribbon Buckles dies and inked through the die with Tumbled Glass. I added it to my bow and then added a Creative Expressions Dazzler in one of the new colours which is coming very soon.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using the Jet Black Archival and embossed with clear powder. I cut it out using one of the Fancy Ribbon Threader Dies and inked through the die with Tumbled Glass. I cut another of the same die out of Blue Card and glued it at the back using Cosmic Shimmer Glue offsetting it slightly.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Teal Sky around the edges.
