Hi Bloggers.
Today I have a card featuring one of the images from the new Creative Expressions Fashionista Stamp Sets. This young lady is called Hannah and she's from the Fashionista : A Day Shopping Stamp Set.
For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the pattern. I inked around the edges with Mustard Seed Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the image using Jet Black Archival and embossed using Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured the image in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I cut the image out using Spellbinders Large Labels and inked through the die with Mustard Seed Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. I cut the largest of the Card Creator Polka Dots Dies out of yellow card. I cut the largest of the Card Creator Fancy Ribbon Threader dies out of a pale yellow card and threaded some Chalk White American Seam Binding through it.
I tied a messy bow using 3 lengths of the American Seam Binding. I spritzed it with some water, scrunched it up and dried it with my heat tool. I made a flower out of white card, the Creative Expressions Floral Embossing Folder and Mustard Seed Distress Ink. You can see how to do this in my Flower Tutorial on YouTube.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set again using Jet Black Archival and embossed with the clear powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ribbon Banners and inked through the die with Mustard Seed.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
