Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For this one, I created my design directly onto the front of a card blank so it's pretty flat for posting - it's also quite dinky 😊
I dusted the front of a Coconut White Card Blank with an Anti-Static Bag. I then stamped the smallest flower from the Woodware Bold Blooms Delilah Stamp Set several times using Clear Perfect Medium. I added CS True White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set.
I added a piece of Scotch Removable Tape on the backof my card along the fold - this reduced the risk of getting ink all over the back of my card. I inked over my stamped flowers using Chic Pumpkin, Decadent Wine and Pum Cobbler Cosmic Shimmer Colour Clouds applying the ink with Smoothies. I removed any excess ink from the embossed lines using a piece of Kitchen Roll.
I misted some water into my hands and clapped over the card. The water bleaches away the ink. I blotted off with some Kitchen Roll.
I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Imagination Verse Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS True White Detail Embossing Powder. I added the same 3 Colour Couds Inks as before and clapped over with water. I cut it out using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Rectangles and added a mat of Coconut White Card using Sue's Double Pierced Rectangles Set B.

I thought you might like to meet our new cat, Ed. We got him just over 3 weeks ago from the RSPCA with his sister Ella. We took Ella back unfortunately as there was no way that our cat, Smokey, was going to get on with her. Ella settled in really quickly and from the outset it was clear that she was dominant which did not bode well with Smokey. Ella didn't like her brother much either which is another reason why we took her back. We would have loved to have kept her as she was so cute and loving but, we think, she would be better in a home where she was the only cat.
Anyway, here's a few pics of Ed (named after Ed Sheeran methinks - not by me, by the nurses at the vets) -
We've just started letting him outside but he's a bit timid - any loud noise and he comes running back in. He likes looking at the world from the safely of the back door mat. He seems to prefer going out at night just before I go to bed and then I worry that he'll come back but he always does. Another week or so and he'll be out all night with Smokey.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

What a stunning card, the colour combo is wonderful. And so is Ed, what a handsome chap! A pity that his sister didn't fit in so well, but he's probably happier without her.
