Hi Bloggers.
I had a great day at Domino Crafts yesterday. The new shop is fabulous - do pop in if you're in Wolverhampton. John Lockwood is demoing there today.
Today I have another sneak peek from Tuesday's Woodware One Day Special -
For the background, I started by adding Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers Distress Crayons from Set 1 onto a piece of Watercolour Card. I popped a little water onto my Craft Sheet. I dipped my finger into it and used it to move the Distress Crayon around on my card, adding more crayon where necessary.
Next, I popped the Puerto Rico Blocks Mask on top. I used a wet wipe to remove the crayon through the mask.
I made sure that the card was 100% dry and then dusted with an Anti-Static Bag. I stamped the Woodware Circle Flowers and sentiment using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I cut my image out using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Background Rectangles.
I coloured the flowers and leaves in using CS Pixie Powders in Sun Yellow, Peacock Green and Aqua Lagoon using a Water Brush. I edged the piece with Vintage Photo Distress Crayon from Set 3.
I added a little CS Blue Teal Polished Silk Glitter to the little circles in the flowers using a Quickie Glue Pen.
I completed my card my adding a Black Card mat cut from Sue's Double Pierced Background Rectangles and popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.
Phill Martin is continuing with his One Day Special on Hochanda today with shows at 9am, 12noon, 4pm and 7pm. I'm offering 10% discount on items I have on my website from
the shows. You can find them here. Offer applies till midnight tonight or while stocks last. Discount will be applied at checkout.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
