Hi Bloggers.
I have a two-fer for you today -
I started by cutting Sue Wilson's Lace Butterfly out of the centre of a piece of Coconut White Card to create a mask. I popped 3 drops of Rich Crimson CS Intense Pigment Stain and 3 drops of Blue Violet CS Intense Pigment Stain into separate Mister Bottle with water. I misted through my mask with the Intense Pigment Stain Misters onto Watercolour Card and put aside to dry.
I misted another piece of Watercolour Card with my misters. I cut Sue's Hummingbird Stained Glass Window out of Black Card and added to my second background.
I dusted my main background with an Anti-Static Pad and edged with Clear Perfect Medium Pen using my Tim Holtz Ruler. I added CS Silver Light Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set.
I added a bow of Satin Ribbon and added a button made from UTEE left over from the One Day Special I did back in December.
I added a mat of Black and a mat of Coconut White Card and added an 8mm Black Pearl to each corner to complete my card.
Here's the second card -
Using my mask piece from the first card, I trimmed it down and matted onto Black Card and then Coconut White Card. I shaped my butterfly which was cut to create the mask and slotted it into the aperture, securing with CS Glue at the body only.
I cut Sue's Birthday Wishes Die out of Black Card and out of Coconut White Card. I glued them together, offsetting then slightly to create a shadow.
I completed my card by adding a 5mm Black Pearl to each corner.
