Sneak Peek

Hi Bloggers.

Today I'm running a workshop locally just outside Milton Keynes. It's Christmas themed so hopefully eveyone will go home with a good start to their Christmas Card Making.

As promised, I have sneak peek from tomorrow's Justrite Christmas One Day Special -

For the background, I spread some Berry Red CS Sparkle Texture Paste through the Nordic Christmas Mask onto Rich Green Card and put aside to dry (approx 2 hours).

I cut a frame out of Rich Red Card using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Squares and Double Pierced Squares Set B. I added it to my background once dry using 3D Foam.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Inside & Outside Christmas Sentiments onto Coconut White Card using Red Geranium Archival. I cut it out using the Justrite Snowflakes & Tag Dies. I cut the largest die in the set out of Rich Red Card.

I stamped the poinsettia onto Coconut White Card using Justrite Multi-Step Poinsettia Stamp Set. I used Crimson Kiss Colour Cloud for the 1st 2 steps, then Red Geranium Archival for the 3rd set (veins) and Coffee Archival for the centre. I cut the flower parts out using Justrite Multi-Step Poinsettia Dies. I'll show how to do this in the launch hour tomorrow night. I cut some foliage out of Rich Green Card using Sue Wilson's Berry Sprig Die Set.

I assembled the card as shown adding some mats of Coconut White Card, Rich Red Card and Rich Green Card.

Sue Wilson is continuing with her One Day Special on Hochanda today with shows at 9am, 12noon, 4pm and 7pm. I'm offering 10% discount on products I have on my website from the shows. You can find them here. Offer applies till midnight tonight or while stocks last. Discount will be applied at checkout.

I'll be back tomorrow with another sneak peek.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

I like Maria make individual cards , especially family members, as when visiting each other they do not see identical cards to what they have received .

  22. Lovely card Julia, love how you have created the poinsettia with the viening. I'd love to be able to watch you, John and Sue on Hochanda but I've tried watching previously streamed shows but all you hear is stuttering. Can you pass my comment on to Hochanda
