One Day Special continues today

Hi Bloggers.

The Justrite Christmas One Day Special continues on Hochanda today with shows at 9am, 12noon, 4pm and 7pm. I hope you can join me.

Here's today's card -

I started by drawing around one of Phill Martin's round acrylic blocks onto Coconut White Card with a pencil. I then stamped the foliage from the Justrite Multi-Step Poppies Clear Stamp Set using Basil Leaf Colour Cloud around my pencil line to form a wreath.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Red Geranium Archival. I cut out using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Squares and edged with Crimson Kiss Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I cut a mat out of Coconut White Card using Sue's Double Pierced Squares Set B, edging it with Crimson Kiss Colour Cloud. I folded a piece of A4 Coconut White Card in half and created a card blank using Sue's Double Pierced Squares.

I stamped the poinsettia from the same stamp set onto Coconut White Card several times. I used Crimson Kiss Colour Cloud for the 1st 2 steps, then Red Geranium Archival for the 3rd step (veins) and Coffee Archival for the centres. I cut them all out using Justrite Multi-Step Poinsettia Dies. I'll show how to do this again today but if you can't wait you can see how to do this on the launch hour on catch up.

I arranged the poinsettias around my wreath - now, I had only put 3 on originally only put 3 on which is why they're a little uneven but I think it's still ok.

I added a 5mm White Pearl to each corner.

On the show there is the Justrite Inside & Outside Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set so as this is a real card I stamped a sentiment from the set on the inside of my card using Red Geranium Archival.

I have added pictures of all my samples from the ODS to my Julia Watts Crafts Facebook Page and to the Gallery Page on this Blog.

I'm offering 10% discount on products I have on my website from the shows. You can find them here. Offer applies till midnight tonight or while stocks last. Discount will be applied at checkout.

  23. Lovely card. Like the idea of using Phil's round stamp holder as a template for the wreath.

Great show last night. Yet more techniques with pixie powders, I was so enthralled that I forgot to jot it down in my craft hints book so I will have to watch it again on catch up. I can't record anymore so your later shows today will have to be watched live or on catch up. Have fun!
