Peace

Hi Bloggers.

Back from Ally Pally. A tiring, busy and enjoyable weekend. Next one is in April.

Have you started your Christmas Cards yet? It'll be here sooner than you think!

Here's another easy one for you -

For the background, I used a piece of Heat Emboss Acetate. I added some CS Clear Varnish Lacquer then sprinkled some CS Rich Gold Pixie Powder over. I spread the powder and varnish around the acetate using my fingers. I scrunched up a piece of White Tissue Paper, opened it out and added it to my background. I used a piece of Kitchen Roll to tap it down and put aside to dry (about an hour).

I made a frame out of Coconut White Card using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Background Rectangles. Once my background was dry, I added my frame using 3D Foam and trimmed away the excess using scissors.

I cut Sue's 2016 Christmas Angel out of Coconut White Card.

I cut the sentiment out of Antique Gold Pearl Card and the oval out of Coconut White Card using Sue's Ornate Holly Framed Peace Die Set.

I added a couple of mats of Coconut White and Antique Gold Pearl Card, some 8mm White Pearls and my card was finished.

The winner of the card from Freebie Friday on 16th September is....................

A beautiful card, that is my favourite angel of the ones Sue has designed and she looks gorgeous with the background you've created.
Glad you enjoyed Ally Pally. The live shows on Hochanda and photos on Sue's blog showed lots of happy smiling faces - maybe if we got the world crafting we would be closer to a peaceful happy world!
