Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I ran a piece of Chestnut Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Rambling Blossoms Embossing Folder. I rubbed Autumn Bronze Gilding Wax all over the embossed design and then rubbed Cast Bronze over too. Once dry, I buffed it up using a dry wet wipe.
For the panels, I did the Caught in Crystal Technique. You can see a pictorial tutorial on how to do this on Sue's Blog here. I used Creative Expressions Heat Emboss Acetate, Cosmic Shimmer Clear Lacquer Varnish, Alcohol Inks - Pebble, Rust & Latte, Dark Bronze Mica Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Metallics Mica Spray Set and Gunmetal Cosmic Shimmer Polished Silk Glitter. Once dry, I cut it into panels. I dusted each piece with my Anti Static Bag and stamped the Kitten Treats A6 Background using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Bright Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I matted them all onto Milk Card.
I stamped the Triplets onto Milk Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Card Creator Distressed Edges and inked through the die with Vintage Photo.
I stamped the sentiment from the Paws-itively Great Clear Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Gold Detail Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Ovals Large and inked through the die with Vintage Photo.
I assembled the card as shown adding a Cream 8mm Pearl to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Ivory PVA around the edges.
My next workshops at Creative Expressions HQ is on Thursday January 15th. There are 2 workshops. Both workshops will use the new Colours by Phill Martin Graceful Collections (and no - I'm not on commission!). Attendees can choose whichever colour from the collection they wish as both projects are made from Coconut White Card.
