Hi Bloggers.
I'm off to Ed Sheeran at the O2 tonight - VERY excited!
Here's today's card -
I coloured these owls at a demo so I thought I would pop them on a card. I stamped the Woodware Owl Friends onto Coconut White Card using Onyx Black Versafine Ink. I coloured in using Distress Crayons from Sets 2 and 3 and a Water Brush. I added some ground and grass to ground them. I distressed the edges of the card using a Woodware Edge Crimper and then CS Decadent Teal Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I matted onto Black Card. I added 5mm Black Pearls to the eyes of the owls. I doodled a little on one of the owls using a Black Pigma Micron Pen (must practice that!).
I stamped the sentiment that comes in the same set, again using Versafine. I distressed the edges and added Decadent Teal Colour Cloud and matted onto Black Card.
I selected a Decadent Teal paper from Phill Martin's Timeless 8 x 8 Paper Pad. I stamped the heart that comes in the same set over it randomly using Versafine Ink. I trimmed it and added to Black Card mat and popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.
Thanks for stopping by.

You can't hide from me
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
I started by creating a Pixie Powder Background. I misted a piece of Watercolour Card with water and sprinkled Straw Yellow Pixie Powder over. Once dry, I dusted with an Anti-Static Bag and stamped the Woodware Geraldine Giraffe using Clear Perfect Medium. I added CS Black Detail Embossing Powder and heat set.
I coloured in using CS Pixie Powders (Straw Yellow, Spearmint, Teal Wash, Aubergine Dream and Burnt Orange) and Pumice Stone Distress Crayon from Set 4. I matted onto Black Card and popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with Geraldine onto some more of my Pixie Powder background, using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Powder. I matted onto Black Card and added across my card using CE Mounting Cushion.
I completed my card by adding some 5mm Black Pearls.

With Love
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
I dusted a piece of Heat Emboss Acetate with an Anti-Static Bag. I stamped one of the images from the Woodware Little Black Dress using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I cut the dress only out taking care not to cut into the embossed lines - I left a little of the stand so I had something to hold.
I turned the acetate over and added Quickie Glue to the bodice. Once the glue was clear, I added CS Black Onyx Polished Silk Glitter and tapped off the excess. I added Quickie Glue to the waistband. Once the glue was clear, I added CS Sparkle Star Polished Silk Glitter.
I added Quickie Glue to the skirt. While I waited for the glue to go clear, I mixed a little Black Onyx and a little Sparkle Star Polished Silk Glitter in a separate pot. Once the glue was clear, I added Black Onyx, then my mix of glitters and then Sparkle Star.
I stamped the dress and stand onto Coconut White Card using Versafine Ink. I added a little Antique Linen Distress Crayon from Set 3 to my Craft Sheet. I picked it up with a Water Brush and painted the stand.
I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Deco Sayings Stamp Set using Versafine Ink. I cut out using an outer die from a Sue Wilson Striplet Die Set. I matted onto Black Card and onto a Coconut White Card black.
I trimmed off the excess acetate from the dress and glued it to the stand using Quickie Glue.
Jane Gill has made some lovely samples with the Little Black Dress Stamp Set -
I love Jane's doodles on the dresses 😊

Lynell
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I added Distress Crayons from Set 4 to a piece of Watercolour Card. I misted some water onto my Craft Sheet and used my finger to spread the crayon smoothly across the card. I placed the Gone to Pieces Mask on top and used a cheap wet wipe to remove the colour from the areas exposed through the mask.
I made sure the area was completely dry and dusted with an Anti-Static Bag. I stamped the Woodware Bubble Bloom : Lynell uisng Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder.
I painted the leaves with Spearmint CS Pixie Powder, the largest circle in the flowers with Teal Wash Pixie Powder, the medium circles in the flowers with Straw Yellow Pixie Powder and the smallest circles in the flowers with Aubergine Dream Pixie Powder.
I added Quickie Glue to the large circles in the flowers and once clear added CS Frosty Dawn Diamond Frost.
I made a frame out of Coconut White Card using Sue Wilson's Scalloped Lattice Frames and added it to my image using 3D Foam Tape. I added an 8mm White Pearl to each corner and popped onto a Coconut White Card mat.
Thanks for stopping by.

Thinking of you
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I popped the Daisy Patch Mask onto a piece of Watercolour Card. I sprinkled CS Candy Pink and Sun Yellow Pixie Powders over and then misted with water. I added another piece of Watercolour Card over the top to get a negative print and put both backgrounds aside to dry.
I dusted the negative background with an Anti-Static Bag and stamped the Woodware Tatty Daisies using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I cut out using Sue Wilson's Background Rectangles Set B and a Black Card mat using the next sized die in the same set.
At this point, if I was making the card again, I would edge with Black Soot Distress Crayon (Set 3). I edged after I painted the image and I smudged the leaves a little. I painted using CS Pixie Powders in Candy Pink, SunYellow and Peacock Green using a Water Brush.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Tatty Daisies onto another piece of my negative background, using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite A2 Card Front Basics and edged with Black Soot Distress Crayon. I cut a Black Card mat using the next sized die in the same set.
I popped my topper and sentiment onto an A5 Coconut White Card blank.
John Lockwood is launching a One Day Special on Hochanda this evening at 8pm. I don't have the Glitter Kiss in stock as it's rather awkward to post (especially when ordered with a pack of card!) but I'm offering 10% discount on items I do have in stock from the shows, You can find them here. Giddy Up!
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
I started by creating a patterned paper for my boots. I stamped the little trio swirl stamp from the Woodware Tatty Butterflies Stamp Set lots of times onto Coconut White Card with CS Decadent Grape Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. Once a suffient area was covered, I dusted with an Anti-Static Bag and stamped the Woodware Riding Boots using Clear Perfect Medium. I added CS Black Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I added a little Seedless Preserves Distress Crayon from Set 2 to my Craft Sheet and used a Water Brush to paint in some of the areas of the boots. I added a little Midnight Sky CS Pixie Powder to deepen the colour and painted in the soles. I scribbled some more crayon onto my Craft Sheet and added a little White Pearl CS Pixie Powder to lighten the colour. I used this to paint some of the detail areas of the boots. Once the paint was dry, I cut the boots out using scissors.
I created a sentiment border panel by stamping several of the stamps from the Woodware Deco Sayings Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using CS Decadent Grape Colour Cloud (brilliant idea pinched from Jane Gill). I also stamped the smaller of the roses from the Woodware Deco Dragonfly Stamp Set, to separate the sentiments. I edged the panel with Decadent Grape Colour Cloud and matted onto Black Card. I popped onto a piece of Coconut White Card, matted onto Black Card and then onto a Coconut White Card blank.
I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Riding Boots Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite A2 Card Front Basics and edged with Decadent Grape Colour Cloud. I cut the next sized die out of Black Card.
I finished my card by adding a 5mm Black Pearl to the corners.
Thanks for stopping by.

Ally Pally Day 1 and Hochanda Live
Hi Bloggers.
I'm heading off down to Ally Pally early this morning to join the rest of the Creative Expressions team for 2 days of demoing. I'm doing a demo in the tent (as we call it) each day (can't remember the times but it will be in the program if you're attending) and I have an hour live on Hochanda this afternoon at 3pm with Charlie. Phill Martin has a live hour at 10am today and John Lockwood has a live hour at 2pm tomorrow. I hope you can join us, one way or another.
I have a two-fer for you today -
This card features the Woodware Geraldine Giraffe but I've only used part of her - she looks like she's peeking around a corner and the sentiment is quite appropriate I think.
I stamped Geraldine onto Watercolour Card using Versafine Ink and cut her out using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Squares. I coloured her in using Distress Crayons from Set 4 - I used Pumice Stone onto my Craft Sheet and used a Water Brush to apply it to the image. I then added a little Squeezed Lemonade Crayon from the same set and completed my colouring. I edged around the die cut with Pumice Stone Distress Ink using a Smoothie and matted onto Black Card cut using Sue's Double Pierced Squares Set B.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with Geraldine, trimmed it, edges it with Pumice Stone Distress Ink and matted onto Black Card.
I popped a couple of papers from Phill Martin's Frosted Essentials Paper Pad onto Black Card and added my topper and sentiment panel. I popped these onto a Coconut White Card blank. I completed my card by adding a Craft Consortium Pearl Heart to each corner.
Here's your second card which features Geraldine complete and coloured using Graphmaster Alcohol Markers -
I stamped Geraldine onto Bright White Card using Tuxedo Black Memento. I coloured in using Graphmaster Alcohol Markers. I used - Browns 103, 93, 96, Warm Greys 2, 4 , 6, Reds 12, 10, 11, CG4, Oranges 34, 24, 23 and Yellows 45, 37 and 35.
I used a Brown Pigma Micron Pen to doodle around the edges, matted onto Chestnut Card and then onto a Bright White Card blank.
I stamped one of the sentiments that comes with Geraldine, again onto Bright White Card using Memento. I doodled around the edges again and matted onto Chestnut Card. I added it to my card using Creative Expressions Mounting Cushion.
I'm offering 10% discount on items I have from the 3 shows we have from Ally Pally this weekend. You can find them on my website here. Offer applies till midnight tomorrow night or while stocks last. Discount will be applied at checkout.
I have added pics of the samples I've made for the show to the Gallery Page of this Blog and to my Julia Watts Crafts Facebook Page.
I'm happy to report that my Dad's test was favourable and he doesn't need to go back again.
Thanks for stopping by.
