Blighty

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I stamped the plane from the Creative Expressions Pack up Your Troubles Stamp Set designed by Danny Mcintosh several times onto Coconut White Card using Stonewashed Adirondack Dye Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and then inked around the edges using CS Ocean Blue Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I matted onto Black Card and onto a Coconut White Card blank.

I misted a piece of Coconut White Card with water. I sprinkled Aqua Lagoon CS Pixie Powder over and then spread it over my card using a Brush. I put is aside to dry. Once dry, I dusted with an Anti-Static Bag. I stamped the soldier, the medals and the sentiment from the same set using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder.

I cut the images and mats out of Black Card using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Background Rectangles,

Double Pierced Squares and Double Pierced Squares Set B,

Double Pierced Rectangles and Double Pierced Rectangles Set B.

Thank you for your orders over the weekend, I will try and get as many out today as possible. I'm out of stock of a few of Lisa's stamps sets - I've already ordered some more. Hopefully they will be here by the end of this week.

Hopefully, stock ordered the Trade Show will start arriving this week. I have already started adding the items to my website with no stock allocated to them to try and get a head start. The best place to see the new products is here. If you see anything that you'd like, simply click on the 'Email me when back in stock' button which is on the right hand side of the screen on each product. You will then receive an email when the stock has arrived. You can do this with any out of stock item. I get a list so I can see what I need to re-stock. The Woodware stamps that I had on my last One Day Special have been re-ordered by CE and they should be back in stock in a week or so.

The winner of the card from Freebie Friday on 24th February is .....................

Please email me at juliawattscrafts@gmail.com with your address and I'll pop your card in the post.

  13. As Patricia said, I can also see these stamps being popular for scrapbooking. The pixie powders make a great background for them.
