Wednesday Sneak Peek

Hi Bloggers.

I thought I would start showing you some sneak peeks from the One Day Special that I'm launching on Hochanda on Sunday evening. I have some lovely Woodware stamps on the shows. Woodware are now part of the Creative Expressions Family and I was asked to choose some of my favourite stamps for a One Day Special. Of course, I chose far too many (of course) as I love Woodware stamps so we had to leave some out but I hope you enjoy what I have chosen.

For your first sneak peek, I've used the Woodware Love Collage Stamp designed by Francoise Read. I adore this stamp, it's stunning! It does all the work for you - you don't need to do anything clever with it at all 😊.

I have a couple of simple samples for you (and they're proper cards, as are ALL of the samples I've made for Sunday - get me!) -

Background - Straw Yellow Pixie Powder on Coconut White Card (it's much easier to stamp onto Coconut White Card than onto Watercolour Card). When 100% dry, I dusted with Anti-Static Bag, stamped the Woodware Love Collage using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed using CS Gold Detail Embossing Powder. Sentiment is from Woodware Special Bird, stamped as before.

I've painted the butterfly with the Straw Yellow Pixie Powder. I edged the background with Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Gold Detail Powder.  I matted onto Black Card and then onto my Coconut White Card blank.

I finished the card off by adding some dots of Phill Martin CS New Gold PVA.

Here's your second card -

Slight variation on the first card. This time I used Lava Red Pixie Powder on then embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder.

I stamped and embossed the section with the Butterfly out a second time, cut the butterfly out and painted it with Lava Red Pixie Powder. I shaped the wings and added it to the butterfly on the background.

The sentiment is from the Woodware Blooming Heart Stamp Set, cut out using Justrite A2 Card Front Basics.

I'll be back tomorrow with another sneak peek.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
