Hi Bloggers.
I have another sneak peek from Sunday night's One Day Special on Hochanda and another two-fer! Today's cards feature the Woodware Blooming Heart designed by Francoise Read.
Very simple to achieve this. I dusted a piece of Kraft Card with an Anti-Static Bag and stamped the heart using Clear Perfect Medium. I added CS True White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I cut it out using die #6 from Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Squares Set B and also cut die #6 from Sue's Double Pierced Squares out of Bright White Card.
I cut die #8 from Sue's Double Pierced Squares Set B out of Kraft Card. I dusted it using an Anti-Static Bag and stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Special Bird Stamp Set using Clear Perfect Medium. I added True White Detail Embossing Powder - I did not heat set just yet. I stamped the little bubbles stamp that comes with the Blooming Heart around the edges of the square using Clear Perfect Medium, added True White Powder and heat set the lot.
I popped my design onto a card blank and added some 5mm White Pearls to the image section.
Here's your second card -
For this one, I stamped the heart onto Bright White Card using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I've coloured in using Graphmaster Pens. I've used Reds 12, 10 and 11 on some of the flowers and Reds 10 11 and 2 on the others. For the leaves, i used Greens 59 49 and 43. I cut the image out using die #6 from Sue's Double Pierced Squares Set B and also die #6 from Sue's Double Pierced Squares out of Rich Red Card.
For the background, I stamped a couple of the flowers that come with in the Blooming Heart set randomly onto Bright White Card using Tuxedo Black Memento and coloured in the same way as the main image. I added this to a Bright White Card blank.
I stamped the sentiment that comes in the same set onto Bright White Card using Tuxedo Black Memento. I cut it out using Justrite A2 Card Front Basics and cut a larger die from the same set out of Rich Red Card.
Hope you've enjoyed today's two-fer sneak peek. Please pop back tomorrow for another (Freebie Friday is having a week off).
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

ReplyDeleteGood evening Julia,
ReplyDeleteI like the kraft card with the little bubbles, that i think would be a really useful stamp to have and use, but the red and white card, with that pop of green is my favourite out of the two, such a vibrant but clean and simple card, gorgeous.

Hi Julia. I don't buy heart stamps but almost tempted after seeing your two lovely cards. I especially like the red one and thanks for listing the colours you have used, very helpful as I'm new to colouring and have bought the Graphmaster pens. SueL x
