Love

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

I started by creating a Pixie Powder background - I used Coconut White Card for this one and CS Pixie Powders in Aqua Lagoon and Aubergine Dream.

I cut the largest die from Sue Wilson's Swiss Background Die Set with the next sized die from Sue's Double Pierced Background Rectangles Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I trimmed a piece from my PP background and added to the the back of my die cut. I cut the next sized Double Pierced Background Rectangle out of Coconut White Card and added it to a Coconut White Card blank.

I cut dies #4 and #5 from Sue's Swiss Background out of Coconut White Card. I cut die #5 out of my PP background and glued the 2 die cuts together.

I cut the 2 larger dies together from the corner in Sue's Swiss Corner, Border & Tag Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I cut the largest of the dies out of my PP background and glued the 2 pieces together. Once 100% dry, I popped the smallest die in the centre and cut to create a frame. I masked off the 'With' in the 'With Love' sentiment from the Woodware Blooming Heart Stamp Set, inked up with Cobalt Archival, removed the mask and stamped onto Coconut White Card. I added my frame using 3D Foam Pads.

No flowers on this one but you could easily add some.

New stock is due in this morning. I'm making some progress. You can find new Woodware stamps here, new Phill Martin Chalkboard Essentials Collection here and new John Lockwood stamps here. I have new CS Polished Silk Glitter, Glitter Jewels and Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powders to add plus some new Mini Stencils, MDF and Pop-ems (Greyboard) to match some of Lisa's Horton's new stamps.

Thanks for stopping by.

Blighty

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I stamped the plane from the Creative Expressions Pack up Your Troubles Stamp Set designed by Danny Mcintosh several times onto Coconut White Card using Stonewashed Adirondack Dye Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and then inked around the edges using CS Ocean Blue Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I matted onto Black Card and onto a Coconut White Card blank.

I misted a piece of Coconut White Card with water. I sprinkled Aqua Lagoon CS Pixie Powder over and then spread it over my card using a Brush. I put is aside to dry. Once dry, I dusted with an Anti-Static Bag. I stamped the soldier, the medals and the sentiment from the same set using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder.

I cut the images and mats out of Black Card using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Background Rectangles,

Double Pierced Squares and Double Pierced Squares Set B,

Double Pierced Rectangles and Double Pierced Rectangles Set B.

Thank you for your orders over the weekend, I will try and get as many out today as possible. I'm out of stock of a few of Lisa's stamps sets - I've already ordered some more. Hopefully they will be here by the end of this week.

Hopefully, stock ordered the Trade Show will start arriving this week. I have already started adding the items to my website with no stock allocated to them to try and get a head start. The best place to see the new products is here. If you see anything that you'd like, simply click on the 'Email me when back in stock' button which is on the right hand side of the screen on each product. You will then receive an email when the stock has arrived. You can do this with any out of stock item. I get a list so I can see what I need to re-stock. The Woodware stamps that I had on my last One Day Special have been re-ordered by CE and they should be back in stock in a week or so.

The winner of the card from Freebie Friday on 24th February is .....................

Be your Fabulous Self

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

Now, the stamping isn't a good as I would have liked on the sentiment but when I tell you that it's actually stamped using Pixie Powder then perhaps you'll understand (it was the best of 4 attempts!). Anyway, this card has all of its elements stamped using Pixie Powders so it's all about the technique.

I started by creating my frame. I sprinkled some CS Aubergine Dream Pixie Powder onto a piece of copy paper. I rubbed the Woodware Splatters Stamp (back in stock) into the powder, misted it with water and stamped onto Coconut White Card. I repeated the process to extend the design. Once dry, I cut out my frame using dies #4 and #6 from Sue Wilson's Classic Adorned Rectangles Die Set. I drew around the #6 die onto Black Card and cut it out using scissors. I used a Craft Knife to cut out the centre and added it to my frame.

I sprinked more Aubergine Dream PP onto my copy paper and rubbed the Woodware Old Letter Stamp (more on order - due in a couple of weeks) in it. I misted with water and stamped onto Coconut White Card. I added my frame using 3D Foam Tape and trimmed away the excess using scissors. I added to a Coconut White Card blank. I popped some 8mm Dazzlers from the Purple Collection into the corners.

More Aubergine Dream PP onto my copy paper. This time I rubbed one of the sentiments from the Woodware Hand Drawn Sentiments into it. I misted with water and stamped onto Coconut White Card. I cut it out using Sue's Double Pierced Rectangles and cut a mat out of Black Card using Sue's Double Pierced Rectangles Set B.

Sue Wilson has an hour on Hochanda today at 11am featuring her new Candy Machine from her new Kinetics range. I'm offering 10% discount on items I have on my website from the shows. You will be able to find them here. Offer applies till midnight tonight or while stocks last. Discount will be applied at checkout.

Mint Cupcake

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the weave on this one, I started by cutting Sue Wilson's Classic Weaving Die out of Coconut White Card and then ran it through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Couture Creations Velvet Tea Lights Embossing Folder. I cut Sue's Striped Weaving Die out of Peach, Lilac, Sky Blue, Custard and Aqua Card. I cut them all into pairs of strips. I wove them in and out of the Classic die cut working through all of the pastel colours.

I made some frames using Sue's Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B - I cut dies #2 and #5 out of Coconut White Card, dies #2 and #4 out of Custard Card and dies #2 and #3 out of Aqua Card. I glued them all together and added them to my woven background using 3D Foam and trimmed away the excess using scissors. I added some mats and a 5mm White Pearl to the corners.

I stamped the cupcake from the Justrite Make a Wish Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Phill Martin's Frosted Aqua Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Sue's Happy Birthday Circle Die Set. I cut the Happy Birthday Circle die out of Custard Card.

You're So Special

Hi Bloggers.

Back from the Trade Show. Lots of new goodies will be appearing on my website in the next few weeks! Lisa Horton's new stamps are due in today - I'll get them added to my website as soon as I can. I'll be spending today getting caught up with my website orders (hopefully!).

Here's today's card -

I started by creating a couple of Pixie Powder backgrounds - I misted 2 pieces of Coconut White Card with water. On one piece, I sprinkled over Straw Yellow Pixie Powder and on the other I sprinkled Emerald Green Pixie Powder over. I put both pieces aside to dry.

I stamped the Woodware Old Letter Stamp onto Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival.

I dusted a piece of Coconut White Card with an Anti-Static Bag. I inked the deboss die (#5) from Sue Wilson's Classic Adorned Rectangles with Clear Perfect Medium using a Brayer. I added it inked side down to the dusted side of the card and added dies #4 and #6. I ran it through using the cut sandwich only. The ink transferred to the deboss pattern. I sprinkled Straw Yellow and Emerald Green Pixie Powders over and spread the powder around using a Soft Brush. I removed as much of the excess as possible using a dry wetwipe. I then spritzed with water to wake up the powders. Once dry, I added it to my stamped background using 3D Foam Tape and trimmed away the excess using scissors.

I matted onto Coconut White Card, then Black Card and added to a Coconut White Card blank.

I stamped the Woodware Tulip Patch onto my PP backgrounds using Jet Black Archival and cut them out. I added them to the letter background.

I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Special Bird Stamp Set onto my Straw Yellow Background and cutit out using Justrite A2 Card Front Basics Die Set,

I finished my card by adding a Small Black Circle Dazzler to the corners.
