Time

Hi Bloggers.

Here's a sneak peek from tomorrow's shows. A fairly easy card to construct, the flowers take a while but all from just 2 passes with the new Heartfelt Creations Majestic Blooms Die.

I started by stamping the Heartfelt Creations Majestic Collage Stamp onto a piece of patterned paper from the Teresa Collins 8 x 8 Paper Pad using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I edged it with Mercury Glass Stickles.

I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Vintage Morning Background onto another paper using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I used the Majestic Blooms die to cut them all out at once. I shaped them and added some Mercury Glass Stickles to the centre.

I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Majestic Morning Background onto some Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut them all out using the Majestic Blooms Die. I inked each one with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink, shaped them and added Mercury Glass Stickles to the centre.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.

I do plan to demo how to make the flowers in my first demo in the 9am show tomorrow. You can also see Emma Lou from Heartfelt Creations demonstrate some great shaping techniques on their blog here.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  10. Morning Julia, I love it, and I will definitely be trying this one when my goodies arrive. I'm also loving the mercury stickles you have used too, it really complements the blue colours. I can hardly contain myself with these beautiful flowers, I watched Emma Lou on C&C at the CHA manipulating these flowers, and arranging them into lots of various types of flowers, and they were all stunning, so I am jumping for joy that you will be demo'ing the flowers too, so looking forward to your shows tomorrow.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  34. Hi Julia
Yes WOW! - beautiful card-love these flowers- can't wait to play with the Majestic Blooms Die and make those flowers - luckily I ordered ahead of time as I thought C&C had overloaded with so many people ordering - but it was my internet that had gone down :o) Hoping C& C will put your 9am show on video - and I shall be at home by the time you come on in the afternoon and waiting with a cuppa to watch. You might even get another email from me! Martyn read mine out last time you were on with him. Love your demos!!
    Have fun. Sheila x
