Happy New Year Everyone!
As promised here's a sneak peak from tomorrow's shows. I'm bringing back the Heartfelt Creations Burst of Splendour and Floral Keys Collections plus I have 4 brand new background stamps from Creative Expressions. Hopefully, I'll have some of the background stamps available in my Amazon Store some time next week.
Here's the card -
Ok, so starting with one of my messy backgrounds. I used Coconut White Card. I randomly inked through the Delicate Mask with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. Then, with the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped the new Fern Background and then the new Swirl Background, both using Faded Jeans. I then stamped the smaller stamp from the Heartfelt Creations Dahlia Bouquet Stamp Set using Broken China Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Paradise Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and then inked around the edges with Faded Jeans.
I stamped the large stamp from the Heartfelt Creations Burnished Keyhole Stamp Set onto some Perriwinkle Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer True White Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Pearl Effects and inked through the die with Faded Jeans.
I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Creations Burnished Key Hole Stamp Set, again using Perfect Medium and embossed with True White Detail Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders A2 Curved Matting Basics B and inked through the die with Faded Jeans.
I made a scrunched up flower using Spellbinders Labels 24. I made it slightly differently to usual and this time used 3 die cuts from the second smallest die and 3 from the middle sized die. I added a little Faded Jeans to the edges of the petals once I had made the flower. I stamped a couple of leaves using the Heartfelt Creations Bold Leaf Stamp Set and Faded Jeans, embossed with Cosmic Shimer Clear Embossing Powder and cut out using Heartfelt Creations Classic Leaf Die Set.
I assembled the card as shown adding an 8mm White Pearl in each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pastel PVA in Pastel Blue around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
Happy 2014 everyone. Not a lover of messy backgrounds, but that is why we are all different, how boring would the world be if we all liked the same things ?!

Happy New Year to you and your family Julia. I can see I'm going to need these new background stamps - they look fab. A lovely card. Pat x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and I especially love the flower. Just one problem though which no-one on C&C ever addresses - there is no way that would go in an envelope so you would need to make a box and quite a deep one at that making for very expensive postage!
