Wishing you all the Happiest of Things

Hi Bloggers.

A card full of corners today.

I cut 4 of the corners from the Spellbinders Diamond Strips & Accents CFT die set out of Foundations Paper. I inked through the die on each of them with Caramel Adirondack Dye Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. I folded and tucked all of them. I cut 4 corners backers out of Foundations Shades Paper and mounted the CFT corners on to them using Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue.

I ran some Milk card through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Garden Lattice A4 M-Bossabilities Folder.

I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Celebration Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using one of the Exquisite Circles dies and inked through the die with Caramel. I cut another Exquisite Circle out of tan card.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Olympic Gold around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  6. Good Morning Julia,
This is quiet striking, this set of CFT dies, are to me, quiet masculine, I cannot make my mind up if I like them or not, I like the other set more, so I will sit on the fence today.
    Have a great day.

  12. Hi Julia

This card is very different and I am uncertain whether I like these dies. It may be your choice of colour but it seems too busy for me it jars a little but when I imagine it in say pastel colours I think it could work very well.

I am still not taken with the these CFT dies they feel a little too contrived and predictable form, giving out too much of a fixed outcome. I like more movement, but that is just me and it would not do for us all to like the same things would it? :)

    Happy Crafting Julia

Sorry but I am not sure about this one at all, I am not keen on those cut tuck and fold dies.

They always look too busy for my taste

  25. I have these dies, so I will probably have a go at the design, but perhaps with a different colour scheme. I have some double sided card (dark and pastel) so they will be ideal.
