Woodware shows on Hochanda today

Hi Bloggers.

I have shows on Hochanda today with part 2 of Jane Gill's Woodware Stamps. The shows are at 8am, 12noon and 4pm. I hope you can join me.

Here's today's card -

I used a paper from Lisa Horton's Christmas Wishes Paper Pad. I trimmed it down to fit in the Creative Expressions Frosted Window Embossing Folder, popped it inside and ran it through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Tan Mat and the White Creative Expressions Embossing Plate. I sanded the embossed detail a little to reveal the white core and then edged with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide using a Smoothie. I matted onto Chestnut Card and then onto Coconut White Card.

I stamped the main image from the Woodware Prancer Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Onyx Black Versafine Ink and embossed with CS Matt Clear Detail Embossing Powder. I coloured him in using Vintage Photo and Fired Brick Distress Oxides by swiping some ink onto my Craft Sheet and picking it up with a Water Brush. I added some detail to the scarf and hat using a Sakura Clear Star Stardust Pen. I cut it out using scissors (I would usually cut out leaving a thin white border but I went utside the lines when colouring - lol!).

I added some Woodware Fluffy Stuff to the hat. I added some CS Diamond Sprinkles and tapped off the excess. I then heated it with a Heat Tool and it puffed up! I don't think I'll ever tire of seeing that happen 😀

I cut die #1 and #2 together from Sue Wilson's Noelle Frame Die Set out of another paper from Lisa's Paper Pad. I glued this directly onto my background using a Woodware Fine Tip Glue Applicator filled with CS Glue. I cut die #4 and #5 from Sue's Holly Lattice Frame Die Set out of Coconut White Card to create a thin frame. I glued this directlly to my frame as shown. I added Prancer to the centre using Creative Expressions Mounting Cushion.

Icut a strip of Coconut White Card and inked it with Fired Brick Distress Oxide using a Smoothie. I then stamped the hoof print stamp from the same set using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide. I edged the strip with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide using a Smoothie.

I stamped the sentiment from the same set using Versafine Ink and embossed with CS Matt Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Sue's Pierced Tags Die Set and edged with a little Fired Brick and Vintage Photo Distress Oxides. I cut the little eyelet die in the set out of Coconut White Card. I pressed it into the Vintage Photo Oxide Pad, added Matt Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.

I swiped some Fired Brick Distress Oxide onto my Craft Sheet, misted it with water and added some Blue White American Seam Binding. I dried it with my Heat Tool and added it to my tag.

I completed my card by adding a 5mm White Pearl to each corner.

I'm offering 10% discount on items I have in stock from the shows. You can find them here. Offer applies till midnight tonight or while stocks last. Discount will be applied automatically at checkout.
