Hi Bloggers.
I have another sneak peek for you today from tomorrow's Woodware shows on Hochanda - actually, it's a two-fer!
For the background, I used a paper from Lisa Horton's Christmas Wishes Paper Pad. I wanted to make use of the foliage on the paper so I planned where I wanted the baubles to hang from and cut out using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Background Rectangles. I dusted with an Anti-Static Pad and stamped the baubles and the deer from the Woodware Reindeer Bells Stamp Set using Onyx Black Versafine Ink. I added CS Matt Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.
I swiped some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide onto My Craft Sheet. I picked the ink up using a Water Brush and painted my Deer. I used a little Fired Brick Distress Oxide in the same way to paint the deer's collar. I added a little Clear Star Stardust Pen to the bells on the collar.
I coloured the hanging bells with Broken China and Fired Brick Distress Oxide and added a little Clear Star Stardust.
I edged my piece with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide using a Smoothie. For the snow, I scribbled on some Woodware Fluffy Stuff (watch out for this, I think it's going to be popular!). I added some CS Diamond Sprinkles and tapped off the excess. I then heated it and it puffed up - really cool!
I matted onto Black Card and then onto Coconut White Card.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto some leftover paper using Versafine and embossed with Matt Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it ut using my Woodware Trimmer and popped it on a Black Card Mat. I added it to my card using a little Creative Expressions Mounting Cushion.
Here's a very simple little card as an alternative - it could also be a gift tag!
I 've just stamped directly on a tiny card blank with Versafine. I've coloured the baubles in with Sakura Stardust Pens. The sentiment is from the Woodware Little Festive Branch Stamp Set. Simples!
I will try and get photos loaded onto Facebook and into the Gallery on this Blog at some point today.
Just before I sign off, there was a comment yesterday about not being able to watch my last set of shows on rewind. I don't actually use that when I want to catchup. If you go into TV Schedule you can see the tv schedule from about 10 days in the past and almost a week in the future. My last shows were on 9th and 10th August so if you select those dates from the drop down menu it will list all the shows on that date and you can select and watch the ones you want. Here's a quick link to the tv schedule section of the Hochanda website -
