When in Doubt

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

The background was left over from a Hochanda and it's so lovely that it seemed rude not to use it! If I remember correctly, I made an ink pad by misting some Mulberry Mist Ink Spray Mist onto a piece of Cut n Dry Foam. I used this to ink up the Justrite Cornflower Damask Background. Sometimes the ink dries quite quickly so a light mist before stamping onto Coconut White Card helps. I added a piece of Creative Expressions Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet and then CS Iced Snow Glitter Jewels.

I stamped the sentiment from John Lockwood's Fern Frames Elements Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Red Geranium Archival.I cut it out using a die from Sue Wilson's Zoe Die Set and inked through the die with Scarlet Woman CS Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I cut the larger dies in the set out of Coconut White Card and Black Card again inking through the die with Scarlet Woman.

I cut Sue's Delicate Filigree Buckle Bar out of Coconut White Card twice. I removed the buckle bits and joined the decorative pieces onto a strip of Back Card. I stacked a pair of the buckle bits and added a little piece of Black Card behind and a 5mm Black Pearl to the centre.

I added some Crimson Resin Roses from Craft Consortium and a couple of leftover Crystal Corners that I had coloured with a Black Promarker.

I assembled the card as shown piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
Thanks for stopping by.
