Hi Bloggers.
The Creative Expressions takeover of Hochanda begins this evening at 8pm with John Lockwood. A list of all the shows this weekend are in the left hand sidebar of this blog. My first show is at 11am tomorrow.
I know it should be Freebie Friday but I wanted to do another sneak peek so I thought I'd offer up the sneak peek as a giveaway. I've made 2 versions of this card so this week there will be 2 giveaways! You won't be able to request one or the other though!
For the background, I inked up the Justrite Vintage Alphabet Soup Background with Cosmic Shimmer Flake & Glitter Glue and stamped onto Coconut White Card (3 second rule!). While the stamp was in use, I re-inked it and stamped onto Black Card. I put these pieces aside while I cleaned the glue off my stamp - very important!
Working on the White Card, I added CS Aurora Lights Gilding Flakes and removed the excess with a piece of Rubit Scrubit.
I made a frame using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Rectangles on the outside and Sue's Double Pierced Rectangles Set B on the inside. I added the frame to the background using 3D Foam and trimmed away the excess. I cut another couple of Sue's Double Pierced Rectangles to form mats.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Elegant Fan Elements Stamp Set using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Silver Shine Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Sue's Pierced Flags and cut the next size die as a mat. I cut a couple of leaves using Sue's Laurel Leaves. I made a flower out of White Crochet Ribbon.
I made a Black version in the same way but I used CS Mulled Wine Gilding Flakes.
The sentiment is also from the JR Elegant Fan Elements but this time I embossed with CS Ancient Copper Detail Embossing Powder. Instead of making a flower, I used a Black Vintage Button instead.
To go into the draw to win one of these card, please leave a lovely comment below. I will announce the winners on Monday.
I have set up a section on my website with products I have in stock from this weekend's shows here. There's 10% discount on those items till midnight on Sunday or while stocks last.
Thanks for stopping by.

This just shows how using the Same process but using totally different colours makes two similar but but contrasting cards. My iPad doesn't do justice to the black one so it is difficult to state a preference. Looking forward to the demos!
