Hi Bloggers.
Busy day yesterday - thank you so much to those of you who attended. I have updated the stock on my website and it's now open again.
I put this card together quite quickly using a piece of acetate from my demo bits box.
I think I mixed together some Phill Martin Frosty Blossom and Frosty Aqua Sparkle Texture Pastes and then spread them through the Lattice Mask onto some Acetate. It takes a couple of hours to dry.
I made a frame using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Squares and added it to the Acetate with 3d Foam. I trimmed away the excess. I added more 3d Foam and then added it to a mat cut using one of Sue's Double Pierced Squares from Set B.
I stamped the same sentiment as I used in yesterday's card (I admit to being lazy as it was still on my desk). This time I used Watering Can Archival. I cut it out using Sue's Double Pierced Squares and cut another die from the set for a mat.
Also still on my desk were Sue's Laurel Leaves and Diagonal Foldover Flowers Die Set. I cut the leaves out of Coconut White Card. For a change, I cut the flower out of Mulberry Paper. I found a load of it when I was getting together stock for my sale yesterday. I'm sure many of you have some lying around. I cut 2 layers together using the largest die in the set. I separated them and made the flower by joining them together.
I assembled the card as shown adding some 8mm White Pearls and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
Phill Martin has a One Day Special starting on Hochanda this evening. I'll set up a category in the As Seen on TV section of my website with items I have in stock from his shows some time today with a 10% discount till midnight tomorrow night.
Thanks for stopping by.

Good morning Julia. A lovely morning yesterday - thank you and some good purchases. Seeing all of your cards and John's was such a treat - they look so fantastic and heaps better than a photo on the blog. There's so much inspiration there. All the demos were great, with lots of tips.
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely card today. Hope you are none the worse for yesterday. Good to meet Nathan! And see Tracey again.

ReplyDeleteHello Julia.
ReplyDeleteLovely Card, not to elaborate.. I always think the Lattice Mask looks better when it has been used than the mask looks alone, if that makes sense. Thanks for sharing.
