Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's sneak peek - some Justrite today -
I'm going to try and get through as many techniques as I can on the Justrite shows - a lot of them will be backgrounds. The background stamp used on this card is actually the Justrite Autumn Damask Background -
I added some Currant and some Terra Cotta Adirondack Dye Ink to a piece of Coconut White Card using a couple of Smoothies. I then spritzed the background stamp with water and stamped onto the inked card. I removed the excess water from the inked card using a piece of Kitchen Roll. I trimmed it down and matted onto Black Card.
I stamped a couple of stamps from the Justrite Friends Antique Labels One Stamp Set using Terra Cotta and Currant Adirondacks. I cut them out using the corresponding Justrite Antique Labels One Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the same die set using Jet Black Archival and cut it out using another die from the Antique Labels One Die Set and inked through the die with Terra Cotta Ink.
For the white background. I ran the Couture Creations Christmas Quilt Embossing Folder through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with a piece of Coconut White Card. This pattern is easy to extend - and not at all Christmassy!
I assembled the card as shown adding some Black Crochet Ribbon, a Crystal Corner coloured with a Black Marker Pen, Small Black Circle Dazzlers and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
I have added the list of our hours at Hochanda this weekend to the left hand sidebar of this blog. I thought you might like to see the promo video that we filmed on Monday lol
