A simple card today (still using up demo bits - aren't you impressed?!) -
The background is a piece of Coconut White Card run through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Spellbinders Lace and Frills Card Creator. I wrapped a piece of Light Orchid Satin Ribbon around the centre.
The sentiment is from John Lockwood's Rosebud Elements Stamp Set, stamped onto Coconut White Card using Watering Can Archival and cut out using Spellbinders Decorative Curved Squares and inked through the die with Wilted Violet Distress Ink using a Smoothie.
I cut the largest die int he set out of Mauve Card and again inked through the die with Wilted Violet.
I assembled the card as shown adding some 8mm White Pearls and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
A number of you have asked whether I'm better yet - well, frankly, I'm not! I've had the flu since Boxing Day and it's not getting better but it is progressing through the various aliments so I guess that's a positive! Although, I wasn't expecting toget some of the symptoms back! I don't do ill and it's now proving to be flipping inconvenient to say the least!
Lisa Horton has a One Day Special on Hochanda starting this evening at 8pm. I've offering 10% discount on items I have in stock from the show. You can find them here. Discount valid till midnight tomorrow night (7th January or while stocks last).
Thanks for stopping by.
