True Friends

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background pieces, I ran some Milk Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Rambling Blossoms Embossing Folder. I matted them onto Cobalt Card. I cut a Justrite Vintage Labels Two Die out of Cobalt Card. I wrapped a piece of Royal Blue/Ivory Striped Grosgrain around the centre.

I stamped the frame from the Justrite Special Gifts Labels 29 Clear Stamp Set onto Milk Card using Cobalt Archival. I stamped the 'Believe in You' sentiment from the same stamp set into the banner space in the frame, again using Cobalt Archival. I cut the frame out using Spellbinders Labels 29.

I tied a bow using the Grosgrain Ribbon. I cut a couple of Sue's Camellia Open Petal Dies out of Cobalt Card and added a Cream Pearl.

I assembled the card as shown adding some more Cream Pearls and piercing around the edges.

Unfortunately, my C&C shows from 20th February which were changed to 10th February have now been cancelled and I don't have another date at the moment.

    Morning Julia and all crafters, I am loving this card, the sentiment says it all but the cobalt blue is fantastic. How dare they cancel your appearance on C&C we don't see enough of you as it is, I love watching you demo, inspirational. Let us know as soon as you can when you are next due to be on.

    Hi Julia
    Another stunning card today. I love the background and the sentiment. Grr, how awful that they have cancelled your show again. It really is to bad of them. Why do they keep doing this to you. They must realise all the hard work you put into making samples for the shows. We complain to them, but they just ignore us. I bet it's either Tattered Lace or Tonic they are putting in place of you. They obviously are not selling enough of these dies.ni hope they give you a new slot asap.

    A really lovely card, I love the colours and the style of the sentiment. I have to admit to not making cards with such a sentimental message but I still like it a lot.

    A real shame the shows got cancelled, so disappointing as I love what you do.
