Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card featuring some of Sue's new dies -
For the background, I used Sue's Classic Weaving Die with Cobalt and Perriwinkle Card. Sue has filmed a video on how to use the weaving dies and you can see it here.
I cut a frame out of Coconut White Card using the largest 3 dies in Sue's Classic Adorned Squares Noble Die Set.
I cut the outer die in Sue's Thank You Expressions Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I cut both the dies together out of Cobalt Card.
I cut a couple of flourishes out of Coconut White Card using Sue's Splendid Swirls Die Set. I tied a knot in a piece of White Tulle and trimmed it a little. I added a couple of Pearl Sprays and cut a couple of leaves out of Coconut White Card using Sue's Cornflower Die Set. I made a flower out of Perriwinkle Card using the Cornflower Die Set and added a Small Circle Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls to the corners and piercing around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

ReplyDeleteHi Julia
ReplyDeleteanother beautiful card - thank you for your reply - I thought the die was a mat
and not strips - I have the strips and thought a mat edge would be nice then you don't have to join it.

These are clever dies I sort if dismissed them because I couldn't work out how they worked without a lot of faffing but will go off and watch video because they do look so effective I'm usually a cd-rom crafter using dies BUT really want to craft in other ways eg stamping, embossing etc Love the card
ReplyDeleteMorning Julia,
ReplyDeleteSuch clever dies and you have made a lovely card with them, I have the cornflower die and its so pretty.
