Hi Bloggers.
I have a bit of a two-fer for you today as I made a card for my Mom for her birthday tomorrow and I liked it so much that I made another in a different colourway to keep as a sample card.
I made this White & Blush version for my Mom -
I cut the largest die from Sue's Ornate Pierced Squares Noble Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I cut the largest 2 dies in Sue's Classic Adorned Squares Noble Die Set out of Blush Card.
I cut a smaller die from of the Ornate Pierced Squares Noble Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I cut the 2 middle sized dies from the Classic Adorned Squares Noble Die Set out of Blush Card.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Typerwriter Sentiments Clear Stamp Set onto Blush Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Silver Shine Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using the smallest 2 dies in the Classic Adorned Squares Noble Die Set. I cut just the largest of those 2 dies out of Coconut White Card.
I originally made the card without the flower - a lovely card as it was (I think you could easily use it for a man if in different colours) but as it was for my Mom, I added a flower.
I cut a couple of swirls out of Coconut White Card using Sue's Splendid Swirls Die Set. I tied knot in a piece of White Tulle and trimmed it a little. I made the flower out of Blush Card using 2 of Sue's Cornflower Dies, cutting 4 of each size, and added a Small Circle Dazzler.
Here's the same card made with Milk and Sky Blue Card. I mixed the card on the flower on this one and change the colour of the Tulle by misting some White Tulle with Arctic Blue Cosmic Shimmer Vintage Ink Spray Mist.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
