Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I ran a piece of Milk Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Art Deco Fanfare Embossing Folder and inked around the edges with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.
For the panel, I stamped the Justrite Garden Trellis Background using Perfect Medium. I brushed Ruby Red Mica Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Delicate Lace Mica Spray Set over the surface and removed the excess using a dry wet wipe. I trimmed it down a little and matted it onto Rich Red Card.
I stamped the leaves from the Justrite Flower For Your Thoughts Clear Stamp Set using Fern Green Archival. I added the flower from the same stamp set using Red Geranium Archival. I cut out using Spellbinders Classic Squares Large and cut a mat out of Rich Red Card using Sue's New York Times Square Die Set.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Extra Grand Sentiments Clear Stamp Set using Red Geranium Archival. I cut it out using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics B and cut a mat out of Rich Red Card using the same die set.
I assembled the card as shown adding a few Cream Pearls and piercing around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Hi Julia
ReplyDeleteRed can be a hard colour to use as it's easy to overdo, you got it spot on. I'm going to a show at the weekend and have a list as long as my arm for ink colours :-) will have to find storage too!
