Hi Bloggers.
Today's card features another die from John's shows yesterday and a sneak peek from another stamp set/die combo from my Toolshed.
This card uses Sue's Fire and Ice Technique but with Mica Powders instead of Gilding Flakes.
I started by cutting the Couture Creations Fancy Frame Die out of Coconut White Card. I added a piece of Creative Expressions Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet to the front of the die cut and trimmed off the excess. On the back of the die cut, where the sticky was, I added spots of Mica Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Golden Winter Mica Spray Set. I used Burnt Red, Burnt Marigold and Mustard Green. I spread the Mica Powder around the sticky area using the brush that comes with the set and wiped off the excess. I then glued this to a mat of Coconut White Card using CS Dries Clear Glue. By adding it to the White Mat first, you remove the risk of contaminating your Glitter Jewels. I peeled away the top backing sheet from the adhesive and rubbed Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Sprinkles all over.
I some of Sue's Daisies Open Petals out of Coconut White Card, added a Small Circle Dazzler, some Curled Vines and a piece of White Tulle.
I assembled the card as shown adding some 5mm White Pearls to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Cosmic Pearl PVA around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Mica powders work just as well as gilding flakes for this technique - I find them less messy. Lovely card.
