Dance like nobody is watching

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I simply ran a piece of Black Card through the Grand Calibur with the Checkerboard PinPoint Embossing Folder. I then rubbed Patina Gilding Wax all over the embossed surface. I left it to dry for a few minutes and then buffed it up using a dry wet wipe.

I stamped the Top Hat & Tails Stamp onto Coconut White Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Lapis Black Aurora Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics Band inked through the die with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I cut a Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge Die out of Teal Card.

I pressed 3 Victorian Metal Corners into Perfect Medium, added Lapis Black Aurora, tapped off the excess and heat set. I added 1 to the corner of the image panel and 2 to the left hand corners of the background.

I stamped the sentiment from the Step by Step Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Lapis Black Aurora. I cut it out using Spellbinders Classic Squares Small and inked through the die with Peacock Feathers. I cut a Spellbinders Square Swatches Die out of Teal Card.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Black Pearl PVA around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
