Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I swiped some Pumice Stone Distress Ink onto my Craft Sheet and mixed in some Cosmic Shimmer Gold Pearl Texture Paste. I then spread it through the More Squares Mask onto Milk Card and put aside to dry.
I stamped Toby using Pumice Stone. I cut it out using one of Sue's Saltzburg Dies and inked through the die with Pumice Stone. I cut the largest of Sue's Innsbruck Dies out of Slate Grey Card.
I stamped the sentiment from the Paws-itively Great Clear Stamp Set using Pumice Stone. I cut it out using Spellbinders A2 Curved Matting Basics B and inked through the die with Pumice Stone. I cut another die from the same set out of Slate Grey Card.
I assembled the card as shown adding a Cream 8mm Pearl in each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Ivory PVA around the edges.
I have a Craft Clinic on Create & Craft in January. Have any of you any questions on our Cosmic Shimmer products that you would like me to answer on the show?
Just to let you know that I have over 300 items for sale on ebay at the moment. Click on the ebay link in the top menu of this blog if you'd like to have a look.

ReplyDeleteI love the texture paste mix, must try that. I love having a messy time and using texture paste and masks is quite enjoyable.

ReplyDeleteHello Julia - well yet another animal and "regular" background card. These regular repeating stencils are working so well with the animal stamps - this card is no exception. Well Done on Help for Heroes - I finally got another yellow sample, so I should be able to start "a bit of art" for a yellow "country style" bedroom.
ReplyDeleteHi Julia. I like what you have done with this card and the colour is so different, very nice. Well done on the money you have raised. Late dropping in today as had my purse stolen out of my bag this afternoon while I was in the greetings card shop (oh, perhaps should not have told you that, but I am just running out of time to make Christmas and Birthday cards as well), so I have spent time at the Bank cancelling my cards and talking to the police whilst they looked at video footage etc. Obviously someone had been watching me! So when shopping, please take extra care. They managed to get my purse even though it was well tucked away behind a zip etc. SueL x
