Hi Bloggers.
John Lockwood has shows on Create & Craft today - please check the schedule for the times. Today's card features some dies that are on his shows, the border die I was hoping to have on my Toolshed on 16th but it's on John's shows instead, so I thought I'd share this card today. It means you also get a little sneak peek of one of the sentiment stamps and die set from my Toolshed.
We'll start with the background, as usual. I popped a piece of Creative Expressions Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet onto a piece of Primrose Card. I removed the backing and added Glass Micro Beads. I cut one of the borders from the Couture Creations Simplicity Borders Set out of Coconut White Card 5 times. I glued them to the micro beaded background, offsetting them as shown.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Hope & Love Vintage Labels 8 & 9 Clear Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels 9 Dies and inked through the die with Scattered Straw Distress Ink. I cut another Vintage Labels 9 Die out of Primrose Card.
I cut some of Sue's Daisies Complete Petals out of Primrose Card and Daisies Open Petals out of Coconut White Card. I cut 2 of each of each of the sizes shown and glued them together, adding a White Pearl to the centre of each. I cut Sue's Curled Vines out of Coconut White Card a couple of times and added them behind the flowers, cutting some of them up first.
I assembled the card as shown adding some more White Pearls to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Cosmic Pearl PVA around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
Morning Julia

I'm not always consistent with commenting even though I like your cards and style. This card though is superb and makes me want to try it. I will watch John today and if he has these sentiments on and dies I could well be tempted. Thank you Julia and thanks once again for your demo day at The Stables the other week.
ReplyDeleteAs my sister above says, superb card, and am watching him now. Could be very tempted withe the sentiments, and love the colours.
