Thanks for all your comments about the Craft Clinic yesterday - those 2 hours just flew by! I'm offering all the little demo bits from yesterday as a giveaway - not the pva or texture paste bits as they were still wet so I left them at the studio. Today's card features a couple of techniques from the Craft Clinic yesterday.
For the main background, I spread some Clear Cosmic Shimmer Texture Paste through the More Squares Mask onto Chestnut Card and put aside to dry. Once dry, I rubbed Cast Bronze Gilding Wax over the surface.
I stamped Poppy onto Milk Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Ancient Copper Metallic Embossing Powder. I cut her out using Spellbinders Majestic Circles and inked through the die with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the Pawprints on Your Heart Clear Stamp Set, again using Perfect Medium and embossed with Ancient Copper Powder. I cut it out using a Justrite Antique Labels One Die and inked through the die with Vintage Photo.
I tied a bow using Brown Solid Satin Centre Band Ribbon and added a Vintage Metal Button.
I prepared the Paved Pearl Border separately using Cosmic Shimmer Ivory PVA and once dry added it to the rest of my card.
