Be your Fabulous Self

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

Now, the stamping isn't a good as I would have liked on the sentiment but when I tell you that it's actually stamped using Pixie Powder then perhaps you'll understand (it was the best of 4 attempts!). Anyway, this card has all of its elements stamped using Pixie Powders so it's all about the technique.

I started by creating my frame. I sprinkled some CS Aubergine Dream Pixie Powder onto a piece of copy paper. I rubbed the Woodware Splatters Stamp (back in stock) into the powder, misted it with water and stamped onto Coconut White Card. I repeated the process to extend the design. Once dry, I cut out my frame using dies #4 and #6 from Sue Wilson's Classic Adorned Rectangles Die Set. I drew around the #6 die onto Black Card and cut it out using scissors. I used a Craft Knife to cut out the centre and added it to my frame.

I sprinked more Aubergine Dream PP onto my copy paper and rubbed the Woodware Old Letter Stamp (more on order - due in a couple of weeks) in it. I misted with water and stamped onto Coconut White Card. I added my frame using 3D Foam Tape and trimmed away the excess using scissors. I added to a Coconut White Card blank. I popped some 8mm Dazzlers from the Purple Collection into the corners.

More Aubergine Dream PP onto my copy paper. This time I rubbed one of the sentiments from the Woodware Hand Drawn Sentiments into it. I misted with water and stamped onto Coconut White Card. I cut it out using Sue's Double Pierced Rectangles and cut a mat out of Black Card using Sue's Double Pierced Rectangles Set B.
