Cascading Leaves Sneak Peek

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's Sneak Peek from the One Day Special that I'm launching on Hochanda on Wednesday at 6pm -
For the background, I cut the inner die from the Cascading Leaves Die Set into a piece of Coconut White Card 4 times, keeping all of the fall away leaves. I popped a piece of CE Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet on the back, turned my background back over and placed the leaves back into the apertures.

Starting with the column of leaves at the edges, I added Penny Copper CS Polished Silk Glitter, taking care not to get the glitter in the central columns. Next I applied Golden Sand CS Polished Silk Glitter, letting the excess fall over the Penny Copper column ( it doesn't contaminate it). Finally, I added Dark Bronze CS Polished Silk Glitter, letting the excess fall over the other Penny Copper column.

I made a frame out of Coconut White Card using dies #2 and #4 from the Square Stitched Peg Board Die Set and added it to my backgrounds using Woodware 2mm Foam Tape. I matted onto a couple of pieces of Coconut White Card.

I cut a flag out of Coconut White Card using the Stitched Flags Die Set and cut my sentiment words out of Dark Roast Coffee Card using the Mix & Match Friendship Die Set. I added my words to the frame and the flag.

Simple but effective!

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
