Blue & Lilac Intermediate & Striped Weave

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the weave on this one, I cut the Intermediate Weaving Die out of Lilac Card and out of Sky Blue Card. I glued the 2 die cuts together, offsetting them to fill in the gaps.

I cut the Striped Weaving Die out of Lilac Card and out of Sky Blue Card. I glued the 2 die cuts together, offsetting them to fill in the gaps. I cut this piece into pieces - 2 strips wide : 1 blue and 1 lilac strip in each piece.

Now, remember - 2 Striped Strips = width of 1 Intermediate Strip. I wove a pair of Striped Strips through the Intermediate Die Cuts as shown and continued with the pattern until the whole background was complete.

I made a frame out of Sky Blue Card using the Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B and added it to my woven background using Woodware 2mm Foam Tape, trimming away the excess. I matted onto Lilac, then Sky Blue and then another piece of Lilac Card.

I added Sue's Thank You Die cut from Lilac and Sky Blue Card.
The foliage is cut using Sue's Spring Foliage Die Set. The flowers are made using Sue's Striped Nasturtium Die Set with a 5mm White Pearl to the centre of each flower.
