Hi Bloggers.
Got back late last night from a very busy day at Bizzy Fingers in Port Talbot. Busy prepping today for my One Day Special which starts at 8pm on Tuesday. Hoping to get the lawn cut today too - we'll see!
Here's today's card -
For the background, I used a paper from the Couture Creations Hearts Ease 6 x 6 Paper Pad. I spread some Phill Martin Cosmic Shimmer Frosty Mink Sparkle Texture Paste onto the paper through the Criss Cross Mask using a Palette Knife and put aside to dry. Once dry, I inked around the edges with Phill Martin Cosmic Shimmer Decadent Oak Colour Cloud using a Smoothie.
I cut one of the border dies from the Couture Creations Simone's Style Die Set out of Milk Card and rubbed Phill Martin Cosmic Shimmer Frosty Mink Gilding Wax over the surface.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Fabulous Sentiments Stamp Set onto Milk Card using Coffee Archival. I cut it out using the smallest die in the Couture Creations Scrolled Tomentosa Die Set and inked through the die with Decadent Oak Colour Cloud. I cut largest die in the Couture Creations Mirabilis Die Set out of Milk Card. I cut it down to make a more square shaped die cut by removing the middle section. I secured the 2 pieces together using a piece of Double Sided Tape at the back and rubbed Frosty Mink Gilding Wax over it.
I cut the largest die and the flower die from the Couture Creations Daffodil Vines Die Set out of Milk Card. I added Clear Perfect Medium to the flower and then brushed some Phill Martin Frosty Heather Mica Powder over it. I also added Clear Perfect Medium to the spray. I added Phill Martin Frosty Mink Embossing Powder and heat set. I added more Perfect Medium, more powder and heat set again.
I assembled the card as shown adding a couple of Cream Pearl Corners and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
I also wanted to share with you details of some workshop that I'm running this month.

Morning Julia, oh today's card is gorgeous and I would so love to attend one of your workshops but they are always too far for me to travel as I am disabled and have to rely on people to take me because of my wheelchair or mobility scooter, one day you never know you might come down near Chatham in Kent.
ReplyDeleteThe cards you are making at the various workshops are fantastic I love them all.
Do the lawn today but also try and have some time to yourself to put your feet up
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
