Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I simply ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Endless Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design.
I cut a Heartfelt Creations Raindrops on Roses Die and inked through the die with Dusty Concord Distress Ink. Using my trimmer, I cut it in 4 equal pieces and glued them to the corners using Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue.
I stamped one of the Single Sentiments using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Silver Shine Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Nobel Rectangles and inked through the die with Dusty Concord. I cut a frame out using some more Nobel Rectangles, inking through the dies with Dusty Concord.
I made some flowers using Spellbinders Aster Topper (I must say, I do like this die set!). I added some Dusty Concord Distress Stickles to the centres.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Vintage Plum around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

ReplyDeleteHi Julia. Very lovely card. I might have to invest in the aster die as it looks so pretty. I've just got my new majestic blooms die and stamp set but I'm struggling with the shaping of the bloody flowers even tho I'm watching u and Emma lous shows on how to do it mine just don't seem to be working lol. Guessing I just need more practice or patience! Lol. Any extra tips??
